I thought this place was an absolute delight, the service was great, the food fantastic and the Chef came out for a chat after our meal. Off the beaten track, but Highly recommended 👍

We have lived in the Cotswold area for over 10 years and have found reasonably good food and ambiance in quite a few pubs and restaurants in the wider area. But we have never ventured as far west as Eldersrfield and now we wish we had done this a LONG time ago. Basically the best food we've ever had in... More
Friday Lunch time was an excellent day for me to pop in and get a table with my girl. The place is quirky and packed, I like the whole thing immediately. Slate settings on the table, nice glass, paper napkin, super clean and tidy, friendly service with a pro atmosphere. Food is precise, hot and domestic in a wonderful way.... More
Fantastic food (not the biggest of portions for the prices) Starters at around £12 mains around £26 puddings around £9 but the drinks really expensive bottle of processo £36! And pints of draft beer £5 ish! Over the top especially as it is just a local out of the way pub! With Wooden tables and uncomfortable benches no table clothes... More
Whilst being late to the Tripadvisor game, I've been lucky enough to have had the pleasure of dining at the Butchers Arms nearly half a dozen times now, and I've never been able to fault a single aspect of any of my visits. As soon as you walk in the door, Elizabeth the owner is attentive and welcoming; whether you... More
Shame on you Butcher's Arms. My sister rang to organise a surprise birthday meal for her husband. Booked a table for 4 and told them that I was a vegan. Was told that the chef couldn't (wouldn't) accommodate me. I rang him to say that he didn't need to go to any special trouble, I'd be happy to have the... More
This is still a local pub as well as a Michelin starred restaurant. It only has 1 star thankfully it hasn't got 2 YET. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxed, dress code is casual and in the centre there is a bar where locals drink . Don't be fooled by any of the above, the food is absolutely first class, the... More
Went in with another couple as a treat for their birthdays. Everything from the building to the food and staff is fabulous. Unpretentious in every way yet at the same time every thing is high class understated and luxurious. £200 including drink seemed fantastic value for for.
We have just enjoyed an absolutely delicious lunch. I had a special vegetarian meal, no risotto or burger in sight, each course leading seamlessly to the next.the bread was delicious with a really crisp crust. I had sweetcorn fritters with a sweetcorn puree , set off by heritage tomatoes and beetroot followed by leek and goats cheese tart with a... More
Bit off the beaten track but really worth the effort no wonder they are booked up months in advance The bread is to dye for and I had Cornish fish soup ....the best soup ever with a great surprise of a scallop in the bowl The rest of the food was really flavorful and really special The wine list was...
