My sister in-laws took us for dinner here as they have visited the place for the past decades and also, my sister celebrated her wedding here so the place is plastered with memories of good moments with decent food. Given the context, I really wanted to like this place. Sadly, my visit was horrible. The place is dark, bad illuminated... More

Food and prices are good for a higher end restaurant but they need to clean the chairs. All of them had dust on them.

There are a lot of places to eat around here, and I think this place gets overlooked. If you go once, you will be back again.

I have been here numerous times for both lunch and dinner over a 30 year period and the quality of the food, beverages and service has been consistently great! Their scalloped potatoes, lobster bisque and fresh, tasty veggies, have been as beautifully prepared with their changing menu over the years. Salads are exquisite, fresh, lightly dressed and of exceptional quality.... More

Old downtown Bellflower is not where you would typically go for a fine dining experience, but we had a special anniversary celebration for four and chose Cafe Camellia from a host of nearby options. Hadn't been there in years and thought the place had closed, but was recently in the area and exterior looked refurbished, so we gave it a... More

Hidden little gem, that has been around many years. Was my mom's favorite, brought back a lot of memories. They have a quant bar and have expanded since the original restaurant. They accept reservations, but probably not needed. The Escargot was exquisite, though out of the breading. I had the Lamb Shank, plenty large portion with a slightly robust sauce,... More

We've been to Cafe Camellia many times. It is our favorite "fancy" restaurant with fairly resonable prices. We, along with friends, have tasted many of the items on the menu and have enjoyed them all. We especially enjoy the wine dinners and events. Just get on their email lists and you will be notified.
