What can I say, this was an amazing dining experience. Everything from the thai ice tea, spring rolls, to the Kai Soi (Coconut Curry and Noodles) to the vietnamese coffee and fried bananas with coconut ice cream...all of it was fantastic. Well done! Service was great too. They were very attentive.

Not really impressed- had fresh spring rolls (very bland, rice paper was chewy), an eggplant dish and a yellow curry. Not terrible, but not worth visiting again.

I guess everyone knows about the restaurants located on Laurel Street in San Carlos. However, from the sparse number of people I usually see dining at Chez Saigon, you are missing fabulous Thai and Vietnamese food at a small restaurant on El Camino near Ralston Avenue. The owner, Chala welcomes you as you arrive, and then the diners can choose... More

Party of two looking for some relaxation after a long day's work. We try to get 3 sets of starters and then go for two mains. Crab cakes were a joke. Four spongy greasy pieces which I only had half of one. I was not in the mood to eat kitchen oil as a starter. Then the chicken sticks with... More

I really love the food here, but it can get busy and the service suffers. The owner recognizes us and remembers what we ordered on our prior visits. I love the sticky rice with mango dessert.

Found this by chance. Upscale interior -- table clothes. Nice china. The spicy Pad Thai I had was excellent. Spring rolls were good. My colleague had a chicken rice dish which he said was good.

Great restaurant, wonderful food, with great customer service, personal attention from the owner, set in a cozy nice atmosphere, all that at a very reasonable price. If you enjoy Asian food and are in the area this restaurant is a must.

Very tastefully decorated and friendly staff. Veggie and gluten-free dishes are available. Our server was not as aware of them as was another worker (who took our call). She was able to show us things on the menu and talk with the kitchen to ensure my friend, who is gluten intolerant, was taken care of. Food was well seasoned and... More
