I would have given 0 starts if I could. Moved to the bay area last week and took my parents to Great China for lunch today. Ordered the seafood winter melon soup, ginger scallion fish and seafood chow mein. Both of my parents suffered from food poisoning (diarrhea) within 15 minutes of eating here. I would never come back here... More

We have been coming to this restaurant for many years. Our favorite dishes are: Double Skin appetizer Seafood Pork Dumplings Sauteed Snow Pea Leaves This time we tried Shredded Pork with Hot Garlic Sauce Ginger Scallion Prawns *Note that they are famous for Peking Duck. Their portions are quite ample and although at the beginning we thought we had ordered... More

Crowded place, very good food and good service, what to expect more? We went with a party of 3 and found a table at 8PM without having to wait which was great. Service was fast and waitress friendly and helped in the choice and recommendation.

Went for dinner which turned out to be less enjoyable compare to lunch in October. Service was good. Food was very good but last time was amazing.

This is the best Chinese restaurant in East Bay. Their founder was originally from Shandong Province, then went to Korea, Taiwan and came to US. So the food is mostly famous for the dishes from Northern China. We always order the roasted duck, double skin salad, crab meat dish, garlic pea leaves and a soup. All their signature dishes. The... All the dishes we ordered did not taste the way it should be. General Tso's Chicken, came in a huge chunk and battered and deep-fried, and coated with sweet and sour sauce; Fish Fragrant Eggplant, was coated with the same sauce as in General Tso's Chicken, and pickled carrot were added in to the dish. Twice Cooked Pork, was heavily... More

We went for lunch. It was full house. Lovely atmosphere. Understanding waiters and quick and wonderful service. On top very reasonably priced. Loved the food. Must visit.

We were a group of 6 so we managed to get a reservation... it was my first time eating Peking Duck, I found it OK but nothing special. We all enjoyed the other dishes, the hot and sour soup, Bok Choy, and General's Chicken. The place is a bit noisy so not recommended for an intimate dinner but a good... More

We love the food here and go as often as we can. Favorite dishes include sizzling Rice Soup, Peking Duck, Ant climbed the tree and Kung Pao Chicken. My husband loves their tea smoked duck. Try and get their duck bone soup!!!!! So many dishes so little time!

After having this with my best friend once, I am absolutely hooked. I have yet to find a place that can hold up against it. They are fast, and clean. To be fair whenever I go I pretty much only order the same thing. Their Hot & Sour soup, and Pork Fried rice. Of course I have tried other items... More
