Menu cards given to us for ordering the food were used so may times, they looked old and were dirty. We did not even wanted to touch the menu cards. Wine list in whites consisted had six imported and six Californian wines. Waiter could not found the wine he suggested in a chiller. when I insisted he reluctantly looked for... More

I try to go to this restaurant each time I go to L.A. I went with a friend and I had some very good Sashimi , the best Sea bass with miso, I was still hungry and took shrimp and vegetable tempura and a very good dessert rice pudding( not sure of the name ) a bottle of sparkling water... More

We went for dinner. Absolutely fantastic! Low key setting and great service. We had the omakase. Great experience!

The place is tiny and feels crowded, but the food is amazing and the service very professional, take their advice and you will have an unforgettable dinner. But bring a couple of credit cards.

One of LA's finer sushi restaurants, and worth every dollar spent. I had high expectations entering this establishment and I was duly rewarded by the service and excellent food. I had the Combination dinner (of various delicious selections of choice) and highly recommended it if you want a rounded sampling. And, if you know exactly what you want, it's all... More

We got here with high expectations being the original restaurant by Mr Nobu Matsuhisa - and we were not disappointed. The staff were polite and very helpful in helping us choose what to order. The Rock Shrimps and the Black Cod are must haves! One of the best restaurants in LA for us!

We went to matsuhisa with high hopes as I've dined in a few of nobu's other places and loved his creativity. First, the place is rather small and very uncomfortable to dine in. It's extremely noisy and you can't hear a thing when talking on the table. The service is highly unprofessional and the wait stuff aren't synchronized among themselves.... More

I'll start by saying that we had some very delicious dishes here. The quality of the fish was terrific and the accompanying sauces / flavorings were frequently spot on. That said, as a high-priced restaurant it falls far short of fine dining. The ambiance is pretty non-existent. We were seated in a quiet side area that was completely separate from... More

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighbourhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
