On our last day at Big Bear, we decided to have breakfast on our way home. We were unanimously recommended to eat breakfast at Teddy Bear by the staff at Lagonita Lodge as "the place for breakfast." They were right on with their recommendation as our breakfast was delicious. We ordered the beef machaca breakfast and the farmers breakfast. The... More

Teddy Bear serves up good food, in a cozy place, with friendly staff. They don't take reservations, so be prepared to wait during the winter season when there is snow. CASH ONLY. There is an ATM inside. Parking lot availble.

We went to Teddy Bear for breakfast two weekends ago, and knowing that we were going to get snowed in, we ordered two bowls of bean chili and cornbread to go... Breakfast was good, but OMG the chili and cornbread was AWESOME! We will be back!

Just Yummy! My boyfriend got the pastrami hash... WOW! And I got a veggie omelet with turkey and cheese... delicious! I asked for my hash browns well done, and guess what?... they were! (Most places don't get it right) And finally, the cinnamon corn bread, AMAZING! Sounds a little strange, but it tasted like heaven! They also have homemade pies... More

Vintage restaurant and feels like back to 70s. Love the foods and also taste like home made, steak was ok but chicken and pork roast are epic. Love the food and staffs are nice too

We were in Big Bear during the Holiday busy season. All the places to eat had at least an hour wait. We were quoted an hour wait but waited about half that time. It was well worth the wait. Had the pot pie and the pot roast. Huge portions and the food was amazing. Can't wait to visit Big Bear... More

We have been here before, but now it looks like they expanded it. Good food, moderate wait. We will definitely come back.
