I was told that the chef was new to this pub, well I would say they have found a good one. The pub has a welcoming cosy atmosphere with brilliant bar staff. We will... More

Had such a wonderful meal, love the new chef Jez! Bar staff were amazing! Especially Siobhan and Lucy. Friendly, warm, welcoming pub. Real country pub, great Gins and wine, open fire, and cosy atmosphere! Fabulous food! Will go again and definitely recommend. Thank you to the red lion.

Just had my 50th birthday meal. Lovely waitress and meal. Definitely come back again. Catered for my granddaughter and the rest of my family without being intrusive

Lovely quaint pub. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice touches in the restaurant, fresh flowers and jars of lavender. Menue was very varied something for everyone. Food well presented and very very tasty. Will return.

WOW - we visited this pub after a good recommendation. We were looking for a place that did a good roast and we were not disappointed!! Had to be one of the best pub roasts we've had in a long time, and that was agreed by all 6 around the table. Food is fantastic, beer is also pretty good and... More

Driving pass when we decided to have something to eat. Glad we did. A lovely little Pub selling Traditional Pub food. The Barman was very friendly and polite. We ordered our Drinks and Food, the food was quickly served. Excellent Quality and well presented, really enjoyed it. Certainly recommend this Pub and when passing again will pop in.

We were having a pre Christmas Christmas get together with family and lots of dogs. Went for a long walk from Tingewick and ended up in Finmere at the pub sitting outside with 5 dogs. We were invited in and we were made very welcome (our dogs are well behaved) - even so it was a nice surprise to be... More
