Just a storefront restaurant, nothing fancy, but great food and quick service. Tuesday was Lobster night, but I chose the Pork Enchilada. Generous portion with rice and beans that accented the meal, not just filled up the plate. Their home made picante sauce is outstanding.

We decided to give this place a try based on Trip Advisor reviews and it was conveniently located just blocks from our hotel. The menu offered a good selection and both my husband and myself tried the Enchiladas Autlan (I may have spelled this wrong), which essentially were spicy shredded beef enchiladas with a tomatillo/avocado sauce. Oh my were they... More

Home made chili rellenos were great - service was fast and the server was friendly. All for a very fair price.

Great Mex, family atmosphere, good service. A bit on the expensive side, but Bishop is a tourist town and suffers from the "L.A. Effect"

Stopped here on our way to Tahoe. Everything was fresh and delicious. Chips, salsa, beans, rice, soup, and everything we ordered was made from scratch. Chick burrito and nachos were outstanding. Service was fast and friendly. We'll be back.

Was a little pricey, and too much cilantro. The kids typically eat their whole burrito but they would only eat a few bites.

Whenever we're in Bishop, this is our "go to" Mexican restaurant--and there are quite a few there! Pleasant, efficient service, good chips and salsa, cold beer, and yummy food. I had their Cancun enchiladas and a special "lobster" enchilada. When you're that far from an ocean, I'd avoid getting sea food. But the Cancun enchiladas were amazing! Shredded chicken mixed... We love Mexican food and this restaurant did not disappoint. We ate here years ago and liked it; it was just as good if not better than when we came for lunch. Chicken tacos are stuffed full of delicious chicken, the enchiladas and the enchilada sauce are outstanding, great salsa, beans (they now offer black beans as well as refried),... More

We enjoyed our meal at Amigo's. The food was actually quite good. The salsa was not hot, but they did provide additional peppers to add to it. Our server seemed pretty overwhelmed, so he wasn't all that friendly. Though he was good at his job. We would return if in the area again.

My husband and I ate dinner here. The hours listed on the door did not match the hours that they were keeping that day. We arrived in what we thought was their last hour open, but it turns out they were closing early that night with no warning. We were not the last patrons to arrive. Our waitress was nice,... More
