Friendly staff. Excellent food quality. Best place in town for authentic Mexican food. A little crowded at peak times.

We had dinner here. The food was well prepared, very good but not outstanding. The staff was competent and friendly. I had a combination plate, the beef taco was excellent.

A very clean but very, very simple dining room. In the menu, hidden among the tacos, burritos, enchiladas... there are hidden gems, like tbe posome soups, the menudo soup (cow's stomach soup, weekends only), and the sope's they are famous for. To eat better mexican, you have to have a mexican mom or grandma. Tell your friends and they will... More

This is the real deal. Traveling from Sedona to Los Angeles, we decided to pit stop here. Let me say this......the food was impressive. Service was very quick. my daughter, the worlds pickiest eater stole all my rice after demolishing her rice and beans. My fajitas were yummy and fresh. The winner of the day was the Chicken Verde Burrito.... More

As many travelers: we've had Mexican fare from Socal-Texas, and everything in between. We've had a dish or two from the best there is along the highways over the yrs, and know of a place or two we tend to agree on, that can't be beat for this, or for that. Not sure we are experts, but we sure know... More

This wonderful "dive" should be featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives on the Food Network. Having spotted it highly rated in TripAdvisor, we stopped in for an early lunch on our way from Arizona to Palm Springs. And oh so glad that we did. We experienced no wait at 11:15 a.m. -- I'm sure it gets quite popular thereafter. Service... More

Small dining room. Ate outside. Really good service, polite and personable. Had Chili verde and shredded beef taco combo plate. Served HOT, on a HOT plate! That's always nice. Tasted great. Excellent salsa. Fresh, warm taco chips. Daughter had albondigas soup. Loved it! Wife had chicken taco and enchilada combo. Very pleased. Our 3 year old twin grand daughters split... More

We were on our way from Phoenix to Twentynine Palms and stopped here for lunch. This is exactly the type of place we were craving... a small family restaurant that serves 'authentic' Mexican food. We got it. Family friendly service with an even better greeting of fresh chips and super great salsa that was spiced right... not too tame and... More
