Although the atmosphere was comforting with a cozy fire on a chilly evening, we were disappointed in our meals which were average. My stuffed chicken breast seemed to be missing the goat cheese stuffing. The olives and red pepper may have been incorporated in the sauce but the taste didn't come through. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak which... More

Waited for this restaurant to open at 5:00, after an afternoon of shopping. It was worth the wait! A local said that their chicken-fried steak was excellent & it was! I got the smaller Early Bird special but it was an ample serving, with al dente vegetables &excellent mashed potatoes. My husband ordered the salmon baked in parchment - moist,... More

I visit Cambria annually and always have a dinner at this little restaurant. The chicken and dumplings is delicious, and the ribeye is so tender - YUM! I would recommend reservations, as it can get crowded, it is a smaller restaurant. We've never had a bad meal here and I would highly recommend a visit if you are in town!

We were in Cambria for the weekend recently, and enjoyed a great dinner at the Sows Ear. By the name you would think it was a pub, but instead you will find a very nice restaurant. We were seated in the front room by the window, and enjoyed the quiet room with a fire in the fireplace that was appreciated... More

Granted it was New Year's weekend, but we chose to go to The Sow's Ear for dinner for a party of 8 on a Saturday night. We made a reservation and were seated up against a wall that did not even allow room for us to move much less put our coats behind us. When I asked if they had... More

Very cute place on the main street of Cambria. We shared a few dishes for dinner (stuffed mushrooms, shrimp scampi and a salad) and everything was beautiful. great cosy setting, staff were lovely, especially Debbie, who gave us some fantastic tips on where to stop on our road trip up to San Francisco. Really loved this restaurant!

We got a late start to the day and didn't arrive in Cambria until late afternoon. Our reservation was for 5pm. It was a heavy downpour. Us and other patrons were hanging out in front of the restaurant waiting to come in. They do not open until 5pm, but I think the hostess took pity on us and let us... More

My wife made reservations here for our New Years dinner, based on the above average reviews. The New Years theme was decorated acceptable for the occasion. We were greeted by a nice young lady who was attentive to us, so I don't blame her for the food. I was contemplating over a Rib Eye steak and a Lobster Pot Pie,... More

Small but very nice. Good food. Nice place to go if you want a quality meal. Service very good. Nice atmosphere, small but that is what makes it so enjoyable. Not a lot of noise and hubbubl
