Best chili verde ever had. Friendly people. Fast service. Would go back many times. Margaritas are made with cheap tequila though

Traditional Mexican food that was fun and nostalgic. Once you get past the velvet paintings of Matadors and Pancho Villa, which I adored, you are in for a treat. None of that fancy, trendy, healthy Mexican fare here! The menu and drinks are the usual at these kind of places with combo plates with beans and rice smothered in cheese... More

Forced tip for marginal service. Unable or willing to split check for three couples. Food only fair for Mexican. Not authentic flavors. Have had much better food as well as friendly service.

There's a lot of construction all around so getting in is a little challenging. Large menu. Food was fine, not great. Prices seemed a bit high but maybe I wouldn't have noticed if the food was more special. Good place to take a large group or kids because it's pretty relaxed. Our server really didn't know the menu but we... More

Recommended. There are a LOT of real Mexican restaurants in the area, and this is one of the better ones. Fajitas are especially good. Margaritas are excellent.

This place is always busy. The weekends are packed with the younger set. Everything is good but I am partial to the enchiladas. I meet with friends there quite often. Perfect people watching location, awesome food, great prices. They sell a lot of beer and margaritas. Love sitting outside.

Large group of us went for a late dinner, had a variety of meals and everyone was pleased. Had been here many years ago, and the food is still good. Staff was quick to serve us all, and tried hard to accommodate all our requests. Would return anytime I'm back in the area. Parking is difficult, but, it's California.. too... More

My husband and I have come here for many years. It is always fun and delicious. I love that when it is nice out we can eat outside. However, inside is very festive. The wait staff are very proficient and friendly. The food is consistently excellent Mexican food. This is certainly a restaurant that doesn't disappoint.

Loved the authentic atmosphere, food, Margaritas, salsa and good service. The place was really, really busy for a Sunday night. But maybe it always is (we were travelers). Just glad we got to go in and enjoy.

The bar seats just a handful of folks, so get there early as the locals tend to "save" seats for their friends. The bartender is a nice guy that makes a good drink. The bar is small and serves the entire restaurant, so drinks can get backed up frequently. It's not due to a lack of effort by the staff.... More
