With so many places to eat mexican food in San Diego my standards are very high. Las Olas does have a great location right across the beach on PCH, perfect at sunset. The drinks and food are very well priced, I recommend the margarita for only $5.

Top notch drinks, food and service. These people know how to make someone happy. Ask for Stacey at the "Sweet" little bar at the entrance. Wide screen tv's, locals and ocena view. How can you beat that. Best place outside of Mexico.

Good quality food at a fair price, service was a bit slow, but it was during lunch rush, so that may not be a fair evaluation.

This place was recommended as a great place to visit if I was looking for a nice Mexican restaurant while driving the coastal highway. After stopping here I can see why my friend recommended it. The food was authentic and the atmosphere is very cozy. The food was delivered exactly as described on the menu. We ordered the Chicken Tostada... More

Took our kids and grandkids to dinner on Friday night and it was packed but it was perfect for kids! No one was bothered by children and the food was generous portions. Drinks are strong!!!

This place is a good place for a meal and then a walk on the beach near sunset. The food is good along with the service. Our favorite was the fresh guacamole.

We stopped here for dinner on the way back to San Diego after spending the day in La Jolla and Encinitas. We were seated right away and our server was friendly and helpful. The Baja fish and grilled shrimp tacos were huge as was their carne asada quesadilla, and although I didn't eat the fresh guacamole, those at my table... More

Been eating at Las Olas for years. Consistently great food, good service and wonderful location across from the beach. Can be crowded and no reservations accepted so may have to wait a bit to be seated if during peak hours. Worth the wait.
