Great views. Great food. Patio seating. Prices are mid range. Buffalo burger with mango slaw was $13. Covered parking behind for restaurant only. Also street parking. Across the street from beach so convenient for a after meal beach walk.

Great selection of item's for Happy Hour (4pm-?). Ate in the restaurant area, ordered off the dinner menu. Service was outstanding (Scot was attentive and helpful). I ordered the Chicken Parmesan and it was O.K.(lacking to my taste), but my Wife's Swordfish dinner was really good.

unassuming, good food and service. Love the smell of the ocean, watching the waves and seeing the pelicans fish.

Can you say 'bloody Mary'? - great Omelets, friendly service- we stayed a long time after we were finished with our meals and they couldn't have been nicer. The best bloody in the area

I was staying at the la costa resort, and was looking for a restaurant near the ocean. I found Dini's on yelp. I was not disappointed. I had the swordfish, with vegetables and rice. The sword fish was cooked to perfection. The vegetables were cooked perfect. For dessert, I tried the key lime pie. I have been to Key West... More

We usually go for lunch and sit in the outside patio area. Beautiful ocean view and after lunch, can walk across the street and walk on the beach. Menu consists of many varied items that anyone can find something to fit their pallet. Liquor, wine and beer served with an extensive list to choose from. We have been here many... More

Hard to beat this place anywhere. Great food, friendly people, wide screen TV's on every wall and an ocean view. Julie has to be the best bartender on the West Coast because she is smart, makes the best of the best cocktails and centerfold attractive. The owners, Michael and Dini are always around to make sure everyone is treated perfectly.... More

Went for happy hour, the house wine and appetizers were very good. For dinner the Pot Roast was tender and spiced just right, the fish excellent. Service also top notch. Highly recommended.

We frequent this place for brunch on the weekends. The patio seating has a great view. The food is great and the spicy bloody mary's are amazing.

"The Mikes," as these two are fondly referred to by the locals, opened Dini's Bistro in 1987 and it has become a Carlsbad landmark. Co-owners Michael Dini and Michael Arellano continue the heritage established by the Dini brothers- Amerigo, Columbo and Michael Sr., who were the proprietors of San Diego County's oldest bar, McDini's, founded in 1890. The Dini brothers tradition of effervescent hospitality and service to their patrons and community is alive today.
