Sitting outside on the patio enjoying the sunny day and view of mountains was lovely. Everything here is cooked fresh. Because of this, I heard it was a bit slow on service. We were the first customers to arrive for lunch and service was prompt and efficient. I had the yellow curry for lunch and requested non spicy and it... More

Excellent Thom Yum soup. Red curry a bit sweet for my taste, but unfortunately they have adopted the American style of making portions far too large so having had my soup I could only manage about half the main course. Such a shame. So unlike Thailand!

We ordered Pad Thai and waited a long time. It was average, not something to write home about but not horrible, either. The restaurant is very small and not as clean as I would have hoped. There was dust on the tables and some of the glasses were not clean. I wouldn't go out of your way to go here... More

My sons and I came for dinner last week about 8:30. I was aware the restaurant closed at 9:00. I asked the waitress if it we could be served and she said it was fine. We ordered soup and egg rolls as an appetizer and they came within 10 minutes. Both were pretty good. It was after 9:00 and the... More

We headed out for a late dinner in Carmel valley and found this fabulous Thai restaurant. It reminded us of our holiday in Phuket. Friendly service and delicious food in a simple atmosphere. We ordered a take home kids meal after finishing our meal and even though it was late on a Sunday the staff happily agreed and it was... More

We eat there often. The food is delicious, but the service is very slow for the impatient American in a hurry. Go expecting to have time for good conversation that continues over yummy food. It is worth it. Or call in an order to go if you can't stand the wait.

We drove all the way to Carmel Valley for this restaurant. We were so disappointed. The restaurant itself is so simple. The food is worse. We order Pad Si Ew and Pad Keemao (spicy noodle) They are the worst thai food we have ever had. Funny taste with funny ingredients. If you you would like to try Thai food in... More

Its really Thai food, which is amazing considering the location. Prices are reasonable. Its always quiet and sleepy, which may appeal to you, as others nearby are much busier. A decent stop for fine food.

Of the Thai places we've been to on the Monterey Peninsula, this one is definitely the best. It's worth the longer drive (and it's a pretty drive anyways). The curries are delicious; I can't decide what my favorite is between the Massaman or green. And the mango with sticky rice are delicious.

Unfortunately for us, the Owner was 'away' the Saturday night we & 2 friends ate at the Thai Village in Carmel Valley. The wait staff had difficulty taking the dinner order (standard menu selections) & got 2 of the entree's incorrect, but, after a 1 1/2 hour wait for dinner to reach the table, all the food presented was Excellent....
