Good spot, great food, enjoyable beers The cheesy bacon beer dip was top level! Great little pretzel dough balls too. Massive portion of quesadillas, we couldn’t eat it all between 2 of us. Early closing though, felt rushed out to leave before 9pm

Mediocre at best Went because of high trip advisor rating, but if this is “best of Carpenteria”, then don’t eat in Carpenteria. Tortillas for the shrimp tacos were hard, daughters sweet potato fries were too thick, husband’s slider wasn’t particularly flavorful. Waitress seemed surprised my...daughters were going to order food, was walking away without taking their food order then sighed when I asked for a glass of water as if we were over burdening her. So when she brought me a hard seltzer instead of a mojito was not about to ask for correction. Was very disappointed all around!More
We stopped by for the first time. I saw Halibut was fish of the day. We both ordered Fish n' Chips...Yum...We also had the Rincon Mac Nut. Best part, was our waiter Michael. A smile, nice service, and some engagement goes a long way. I...just had a fancy lunch at a high end restaurant and the wat staff was like drones. Big Kudos to Michael, and I already recommended this place to others. A local referred this place to us while we were riding on our bikes through town. Plan to come back with my husband.More
Given the rating and reviews posted on TripAdvisor, our first meal in Carpinteria just had to be Rincon Brewery. Unfortunately it didn’t quite live up to the hype. I mean it was okay but certainly not great. I had the Chicken Milanese sandwich which was...very fresh and tasty. I had a side of the sweet potato fries and their stout( I believe she and oatmeal and coffee stout). Mine was very good but not great. My husband ordered the Cuban sandwich with housemate chips. Everything lacked seasoning. The chips had no real flavor except for the oil, the pork was woefully under seasoned and the cheese wasn’t melted. The staff was very nice. One orders at the bar and they bring the food to the table. It was an okay dining experience but nothing worthy of the praise in earlier reviews.More
Rincon Brewery was hands down the best restaurant I've been to in Carpenteria. The customer service is outstanding, and the food is fresh. We had a green salad, fried chicken sliders, clam chowder, fries and beer. All was delish - and the green salad was...full and very fresh which is a bonus for me. I will definitely be back.More
Everything was the best! Service, food, brews!! Gotta have the deep fried pickles- the bomb!! Fish tacos were fresh caught and served up perfectly! Clam chowder is fresh and tasty too!! We will visit again!
We were heading home from the Santa Barbara zoo (a MUST when you are in the area) and decided to give this place a try. It’s a very cool looking brewery pub, spacious and extremely clean. We started with the cheesy beer dip, and it...was terrific. My only issue was there was too much dip for the amount of pretzel bites (but TBH the number of bites was actually just right for an appetizer). So we ended up dipping my fries from my entree into it (trust me, it was awesome). I had the BBQ burger and my wife had the chicken tacos. My burger was good, but the patty itself a tad dry (probably the cook presses the meat during cooking). It was still quite good though. The chicken tacos were very good, lots of shredded chicken and quite flavorful. We ended the dinner with the Tarpitz pie, their version of the mud pie. They use locally made McConnell’s ice cream and it too was terrific. All in all we most definitely will be back. And I’ll even try the burger again (there’s always the chance it was a one off mistake).More
After a long day on the road, we decided to have a burger + beer at this nice brewery. Very friendly staff, very good burger, and delicious beer! If you are not sure, go ahead!
Four of us went for lunch and a beer and were happy customers. Two of us had the fish and chips and the other two had the fresh fish tacos. No one was disappointed! The portions were large and the service was very friendly. We...all had one of their beers and and were happy with the selections. Although we sat inside there is a nice looking outside seating area that filled up by the time we had finished lunch. Parking was easy with some street parking in front and public parking in back.....very convenient. A stroll down to the beach afterwords capped off a very nice afternoon excursion.More
Great spot...dine inside or out..great food n menu...delicious brews...friendly service...and reasonable prices...something for everyone
The restaurant sits next to the bustling Carpinteria Avenue, in downtown Carpinteria. The place is noisy, but the atmosphere is charming. The beer was good, and the food was tasty and reasonably quick.
Looking for good choice of beer and great food this is the place. This was our first visit to the town and this is a little gem of a place for beer and food. The food portions were too large for us mortals from the...UK but the quality was very good. Will go back in the future if we are in the area.More
What we hoped would be an enjoyable family birthday celebration at Rincon Brewery, one of the best restaurants in town, turned into a disappointing experience due to poor customer service. The problem resulted from being seated outside next to a non-functioning heater on a chilly...January evening. After the wait staff repeatedly tried to reignite the heater to no avail, the hostess refused to re-seat us at another open table due to "not having an open table in the same server's area", she said. Later, when I reached out to provide feedback to the manager, she told me she was "too busy to talk" and that I could call the general manager. The phone # she provided was incorrect. All around not good. Hopefully this was an anomaly for such a highly rated restaurant, but we sure wouldn't go back after all that.More
This place was packed for New Years! It’s a fairly small spot. Food was ok. Beer was stellar. Good prices.
Stop by for an afternoon lunch, (mostly for a taste of the rincon blond) ordered up a bowl of the chowder.....it was beautiful butter sweet! Served in the calif. costal sourdough ball bowl, fantastically sweet, crisp fresh vegetables (this stuffs cooked fresh daily ), the...baby Spinach salad with strawberries, and feta type cheese is the starter. (Crazy good beers)More
