This is a real local hangout and sort of a hidden gem in this small town! The fish is fresh every time I go there ! The Margaritas are really strong and good ! Get a pitcher and have some fun! Indoor and Outdoor dining !

Had to give a star rating, but really just wanted to say I was sorry to see that Cabo (used to be Chuy's) was no longer open, and now is called Cielo... knew I was in for a different place when I was asked about how many we wanted to seat for lunch....ut oh, now a fancier place...no more seat... We went to Cabo's twice. Each time the staff has been friendly, food was good. There's outdoor seating available, complimentary tortilla chips, and the drinks were a good value. We will definitely come back when we visit Carpinteria again!

Great food, service, and well priced. I like that I can order large meals for the family and have a top shelf tequila while I wait.

After spending the day at the beach we just didn't feel like cooking so we decided to hit up Cabo's. We had been there before but it had been a few years. We walked from the camp site ready to eat. It was a bit busy as it was Saturday night and open mic night (Jason Paras; he was pretty... More

We decided to try Cabo's after a day at the beach. The girl at the front counter was very friendly. I ordered the 2 pc chicken platter, my husband had "some kind of fajita stuff". (his words, not mine) He said it was OK. My chicken consisted of a drumstick and a thigh. There was not even enough meat for... More

I stopped at 1 pm on a Tues for something quick. there were only two tables eating, but it was taco Tues @ $1.49 each. I ordered one carne asada and one chicken taco. They are served on small corn tortillas and there was enough meat & filling for both. The salsa choices were good and it was a nice... More

You buy at the counter, and they bring your food to you. Service was quick. Food was tasty. I had the best tacos I've ever had. They were the tri-tip on flour tortillas. The large Cabo salad in a tortilla shell was also a hit! Additionally they had corn dogs and chicken fingers that the kids enjoyed. There's a bar... More

Cabo's is a busy restaurant for good reason. It's not fancy, lots of outdoor seating, good wine and beer and the food is really good. We totally enjoyed it. The loaded nachos are a meal by itself. I had the roast chicken and it was tasty and tender but not spicy. Can't go wrong.
