This is our go-to place in Chino Hills! There is nothing on the menu that isn't awesome. I love that the servers will always give you clues to what's fresh and tasty.

Wouldn't expect to find Louisiana style steam kettle cooking in a Chino Hills mall, so The Boiler was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant interior is fairly austere, but don't let that dissuade you from dining here --- the food is definitely worth it. The entrees...are served in large porcelain bowls, and we opted for the shrimp scampi and the jambalaya. Both were delicious. A really nice feature was being able to order on a scale from 0 - 10. We stayed in the 2-3 range, which gave the flavors a nice piquancy without overwhelming them with heat. But if you want to go that direction, it's good to have the choice. We both went with the amber microbrew ---- good accompaniment. If you're still a hungry young'n, you may want to throw in a starter or salad to round out the meal, but for us older folks, just the entrée was more than enough. We paid $18 - $19 for our entrees and $7.75 for the beers, not cheap, but reasonable for the quality. Service was friendly and attentive.More

Wow. Never had New Orleans style food before. I'm super picky and everything was ridiculously good. Highly recommend in order of favourites the Gumbo, the steamed clams and bacon wrapped prawns. Prices are awesome, even for drinks. Will be back. Great food, great service, great...prices. What more do you want?More

Went there for dinner and really enjoyed the House Pan Roast. I'm not a huge tomato cream fan but I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was.

The HOUSE pan roast is my favourite go-to entree here! It is, SO bomb and is the closest thing I can get from that tastes like the oyster bar in LV. I'm a huge fan of this! I also love the New England Clam Chowder,...it's very creamy and delicious. I have never really had to wait here which is awesome! Service is friendly and efficient. I'll definitely be back again whenever i'm chillin' in the Chino.More

Particularly good if you like spicy food and want to have different levels of intensity within your party. Watching it assembled and cooked in front of you is a charm. Staff always happy to advise.

My husband, his sister & brother & I had dinner here on 4/30/17. We order the Bacon wrapped shrimp & Oysters Rockefeller as starters. Both were very good. The bacon was very crispy but the shrimp weren't overdone. We also tried the Jambalaya, Bouillabaisse, House...Pan and the Cilantro Chicken. All came with our own personal spice level. This is a great feature of all of their food. No one was disappointed. The food was fresh, the service was great and we will try to come back. Nice selection of beer.More
