Great food. Wholesome, down home cooking...This is a great destination for families with young children. There is train attached to the ceiling.. The service as well as the breakfast was tops.

Even when there is a crowd you can count on getting in and out in a hurry. The salads are great! And their breakfasts are good too. Cute atmosphere; with an indoor train above you and nostalgic stuff around you.

Comes across like an older local restaurant in the country. Went for breakfast while waiting for vehicle service in Sanger. Only about 15 minutes from Sanger. Well worth the drive! Service was fast and the food was very good.

We arrived approx. Fairly crowded from dining area, few open tables. Our greeter was the owner, he asked if we'd like to sit on the patio. We said sure. We went into the patio, "a covered tent" on the side of the building. It has a wooden deck, heaters, patio furniture. Menus were presented while seated. A "drinks" server came... More

Okay, so the Red Caboose is never going to compete with fast food or even chain dining like Appleby's or Denny's for quick, efficient service and perfectly good food but... what the Red Caboose does have is down home charm, nice servers and an interesting clientele that keeps you smiling the whole time you are there. While we had lunch... More

I ate at the Red caboose twice on my visit to Clovis. First time I had the biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon. Absolutely excellent. I'm so glad I only ordered the one biscuit. My cousin ordered the two biscuits and there was no way I could eat all of that! lol My last visit was for lunch.... More

this is two reviews. breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is big in Fresno-Clovis. everyone knows that. Caboose is nothing great, but could be fixed. portions are not big, potatoes are skimpy. there's nothing that grabs you to come back. with the location, people need a reason to drive all the way out there. Dinner, again, fair. I had the prime rib... More

The biscuits and gravy are to die for, they have great food and the service is wonderful when you step inside you feel as if you have went back to 1975 I love the food and the prices are very reasonable.
