We were staying at the Loews resort on Coronado and wanted to stay in for the evening. Village Pizzeria was the best looking delivery in the area. We ordered buffalo wings (perfect), greek salad (solid), the double sausage calzone (yummy) and, when our order came wrong (delivery driver was on his first day), they sent out our correct order quickly... The food here was delicious. I didn't think I could eat so much! The pepperoni pizza was just sooo good. Just like pizza is meant to be. No stodgy bases, beautiful tomato sauce, cheese and lovely pepperoni. The pasta was fresh and just so tasty. We also had some chicken wings which were crispy and tasty. Everything we ate was... We ate barbecue chicken pizza (12') and we're still hungry so we order the chicken Parmesan dish! It hit the hungry spot for Italian food! We thought it was good! We recommend!👍

My mom and I visit Coronado every year and can't believe we only recently discovered this gem. The garlic knots are fantastic and our pizza was excellent as well. Bon Bons from MooTime were the featured dessert. Also delicious. We went a couple of days ago and are coming back tonight. The staff was also pleasant!

Happy hour is spectacular. Especially if you don't know which pizza to get. They have slices during happy hour - but beware when they say huge...they mean HUGE. Yummy

It is not a very big place, but we got a take out pizza. It was really good! I was a bit nervous being a Northeast pizza snob, but we liked it. Nice staff and quickly made to order.

After being out and about we were looking for a simple dinner, and not Pizza or burgers. Village pizza has several options that were just right. One of us had a nice Caesar Salad, i had chicken parm, and the raviolis were great. The service us fast and friendly and the prices great. It was nice to not have to... More

Established in 2002, Coronado's locally owned and family operated Village Pizzeria offers an authentic slice of New York City in the heart of beautiful Coronado, California. Using only the freshest ingredients, Village Pizzeria prides itself on going to great lengths to preserve the integrity of the iconic New York style pie, down to importing authentic New York water to replicate the perfect thin crust dough. Located just a block away from the Pacific Ocean, the restaurant's original Orange Avenue location provides cozy interior dining and ample outdoor seating, allowing guests to enjoy the coastal vibe of the area. Village Pizzeria's second location opened in 2007, just steps away from the bay, boasting a spacious event-ready patio perfect for any family gathering. With nearly 20 pizzas to choose from, Village Pizzeria also delivers a healthy, tailor-made spin on old-school New York pizzeria offerings. Touting four different crust options for each pizza-original NY-style crust, thin crust, Sicilian style, and gluten free-as well as a variety of specialty pizzas such as "The Billy Goat" a white pie with fresh spinach, roasted red peppers, onions, sun dried tomatoes, basil, balsamic vinaigrette and goat cheese, as well as "The Islander" with Canadian bacon, pineapple, onions and bell peppers. In addition, the restaurant's menu features a variety of made-to-order salads, pastas, calzones, hoagies and desserts.
