Excellent food and an unbelievable view of San Diego Bay. This is a must stop in Coronado. The ferry will let you off very close to the front door.

We had a little extra time before the ferry arrived for our return to San Diego. Stopped in for drinks, had a wonderful server Jose, offered us complimentary chips & salsa. We had a table by the window with a great view of San Diego!

The food is good, service is so-so, view and location are great! Try the carnitas nachos and tres leches cake!

My mom and I ate here while we were in town for a convention and it was one of the worst dining experiences we had while we were in California. We unfortunately ended up here on a Sunday during brunch time and it was so loud, it felt like we were screaming at each other. We eventually gave up trying... More

We had a group of 10 with a reservation. We walked into the back by accident. Someone pointed to the "check in desk" where we stood for a few minutes before anyone saw us (and it wasn't busy). The menu is a bit limited and quite frankly the food was ok at best, not alot of flavor. We had 2... More

The food here is not too bad, but the view is unbelievable. It is right after you get off the ferry and one of the best views in the San Diego area.

Had an awesome table with a view & a happy hour menu! Nice portion sizes, $4.95 per sangria, Delish street tacos and enchiladas. My waiter was so nice. Good kids meal. Service is MEH but with great ambiance and eats / we were not in a rush so enjoyed the pace. Great value and affordable for menu of choices and... More

I had high hopes, but it was average at best. Watered-down margarita, ok guacamole, and carnitas without a crunch. People watching was the most interesting part.

Candelas has a great view and people watching, but our recent visit for the all day happy hour was disappointing. The service was horribly slow--there were very few people in the bar area, but I had to go and ask the hostess to find us a server. The chips were bad, the salsa good. The white sangria, which had been... More

Found this restaurant while in San Diego on stopover from Hawaii. Great margaritas, salsa is spectacular, entrees all very good. However, not sure if it was because it was a Saturday night and busy - and they had a wedding reception going on in back room - but our waiter was SLLLOOOWWW to ever bring anything. That said, I highly... More
