We had a very nice dinner at Chez Loma. The starters of onion soup and Caesar salad were fine. The duck with cherry sauce and the grilled salmon were excellent. Efficient service in a pleasant room made this a highlight of our meals in Coronado.

Love this quaint restaurant! Happened on it while walking around Coronado. For brunch I had the duck tacos and a glass of bubbly. The food and the service was fantastic! If I lived here I would definitely be a 'regular'.

What a charming place! And the food was exceptional. We had an early dinner (530) and tried their $31 three course special. It was the best! The pace was slow enough to enjoy our food and conversation. If you have a special event give this...More

Great food and great atmosphere. Needed a larger table, so we sat in the bar. The bartender was very attentive and accommodating as we caught up with friends. The food was excellent - best filet mignon I've ever eaten. Highly recommended.

Can you take a group reservation? how many would be the limit in a group? This would be either June 19 or 20.

The restaurant is a classic Coronado home, with several really nice rooms. I would call them, I have a hunch they can accommodate reasonable numbers - say 12-16
Does Chez Loma offer a full bar? Or only beer & wine?

Our new San Diego home is located in the Carez Hizar House (circa 1889), a Coronado historical landmark on Loma Avenue almost at the corner of Orange Avenue. We are within walking distance to beautiful downtown Coronado, the Hotel Del Coronado, and the beach. A French inspired bistro where people feel comfortable and enjoy fresh rustic fare at reasonable prices. Sourcing locally to achieve maximum freshness and offering our customers what they want instead of following culinary trends. If your desire is a casual tapa at the bar or a dinner with friends or colleges, Chez Loma under new management, offers an inviting space to relax, enjoy and socialize.
