Cozy and small, this is the place for authentic Mexican diner food. Super friendly waitstaff. I had the carnitas sandwich on rye - delish! My kids had burritos, and my son loved his steak tostada!

Funky place with good food at reasonable prices. We stumbled upon after parking to get some real estate flyers. Best French fries. Good thing I don't live nearby. Nachos were freshly made. So much food we couldn't finish it all.

One breakfast burrito will fill you up for 2 or 3 meals. Great hours, personal service. Waiter is grill cook. It's all perfect if you can get a seat. A must have Coronado meal.

From outside it didn't look like anything special, but once we got in - the service was excellent, the prices were more than affordable and the fish tacos were absolutely excellent! Crunchy cabbage, tasty tortillas, very well prepared fish and great sauce - this is...More

Description
This is a small diner, that has been in business since 1929, the Esquer family has owned it since 1996, we have 20 seats and the counter surrounds a flat-top grill and vintage hood that was salvaged off a ship more than 100 years old. You watch your found being cooked by one person, depending on what cook you get your food will get to you fast or...not so fast but will always be delicious!. Weekend mornings are the busiest and we are open late, Friday and Saturday Nights till 4am.
