This is a very convenient option for those visiting the Avenue of the Arts Hotel, a real hidden gem. Very convenient with their parking validation as well. Make sure to check out their nice happy hour specials, a great way to relax after work. Both...the main restaurant area and their lounge are perfect places to unwind. Our server Alex was phenomenal, she was on point from start to finish in every way. She gave me some samples of Eberle red wine and was over-achieving in every way imaginable. Her entire demeanor was that of someone who was dedicated to ensuring we were having an amazing time, and obviously the quality of the food, et cetera, is important, but having someone display such professionalism and friendliness takes the meal to an entirely different level. Her positive and warm vibe along with her perfect recommendations on what to order made the visit several times better, literally. The location here is great and there's a really good selection of cocktails too. We were in the area to enjoy Handel's Messiah at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, which is another fantastic place to visit, so it was very convenient for everybody. For such a high-end location and set of offerings, all the prices and items are presented with significant value. There are also many things to do in the surrounding area around South Coast Plaza. My food was very tasty and well prepared, the cooks are experts here. Too many good things to discuss here, but you definitely don't want to miss out. The design is beautiful with the pond and landscape, it really has such a delightful and pleasant touch. I highly recommend others stop by here, no need to worry about COVID since they've got every single safety precaution in place, I have no complaints whatsoever.More

Had breakfast daily at the Silver Trump restaurant. Reasonably priced, quality food and excellent service from pleasant and attentive staff. Also enjoyed Happy Hour food and beverage options in bar.

We dined with friends prior to a show at Segerstrom Concert Hall and were very pleased. The atmosphere, food, drink and service were all top-notch. They complement parking including while you are at the theater.

The restaurant and bar here are very nice with excellent patio seating. We only enjoyed the bar as we went somewhere else on the water for dinner.

Easy to find and it was attached to a hotel. Parking was easy either self park or they have a valet. We went here with a group from work and there was 9 of us and they didn't miss a beat. All the meals came...out at the same time and were superb. All the sides are all extra so order mashed potatoes of you want them with your steak! Attentive staff and or drinks we're never empty! The bread that is on the table is fresh and we asked for another basket! This place is not cheap so plan on a hefty bill but for a special occasion it is so worth it!!More

With the family having a good dinner after a nice ballet in the theater. The tiramisu doesn’t have anything to do with an Italian tiramisu.

"The Killer Strumpet" has become a meme in our family for an unusually expensive and painful experience. We redeemed OpenTable points for a $60 discount for diners who eat after 8 pm at Silver Trumpet. We're used to eating at 6 pm, so we were...hungry when we entered a nearly-empty restaurant and ordered more dishes than usual. The meal started off well for three of us with a charcuterie platter with cheeses and processed meats. From here on, our concept of "delicious" different greatly from the chef's. - The natural goodness of the rack of lamb was overpowered with Cayenne pepper - The delicate taste of the Chilean sea bass was overpowered by the confit heirloom tomatoes and California olives - The ladyfingerless tiramisu tasted more like chocolate cheesecake We produced our rewards card for $60 from OpenTable. Our server, who was very nice and personable, said the card was declined repeatedly. She said she consulted the manager, and neither of them were able to get the card accepted. So we had to pay a very steep full bill and walk away wondering what in the world had just happened to us. The menu prices at Silver Trumpet are really high Maybe they have to provide a discount to guests of the hotel Two days later, at another restaurant we had a delicious cut of Chilean sea bass that was about twice the size of the Silver Trumpet's for 30% less. We phoned OpenTable and learned that the reason we had to pay the full amount to Silver Trumpet was that our server had tried to charge the OpenTable MasterCard for the whole amount of the bill and not just for the $60 discount. Neither the server nor the manager seemed to be able to sort that out. We could show them how to charge an OpenTable reward card the next time we visit, but of course, there will not be a next time.More
