Hadn't been to Marrakesh in many years, saw a Groupon and took advantage, dinner for four. While the place was a bit dated but still interesting given the "tent" like atmosphere and seating, (just a bit low for me, I am a big guy) the food and service was outstanding! From the starters of the vegetable plate, to the unlimited... More

This is a old Mediterranean restaurant that is next to the expressway in Costa Mesa. The interior is huge which has many dining sections on different levels. The decor certainly elevates the ambiance and sets the expectations for something special. The service begins with washing of hands with rose water. Dinner consists of soup, salad, bastilla, entree and baklava with... More

I was looking for something different for dinner. This is the place. The food is outstanding and the portions are large. Prices are in line with most mid-priced fine dining restaurants. I didn't see any belly dancers, but maybe another day.

What are wonderful and surprisingly excellent restaurant in Costa Mesa. We went there as couples on the advice of someone who it said it was a wonderful place for a different and unique dining experience. Right off the bat the decor is strictly Middle Eastern and they were belly dancers about and there is music in the background. The staff... More

I've been to Morocco and the food here is authentic as are the servers. The decor takes you to another country and the dishes are all so savory. The tea serving part of the meal makes it fun and realistic as does the belly dancing. It's a fun night & a highly recommend-- though if you're going for date night... More

If you are looking for a restaurant that serves delicious authentic dishes with no skimping on portions, give the Marrakesh a try. You won't be disappointed. The roasted lamb was to die for!

The food was delicious although we didn't have a camel on our Bastilla dish. Had the traditional dinner and enjoyed every course. Had honey prune lamb. So tender and moist! The atmosphere and layout was fantastic too. Great food, great place.

This is a Moroccan dining experience. Tapestries all around with dimly lit areas with low seats and tables. Used Groupon deal for 2 pre fixed meals. What a delightful and unique experience. The server rinsed our hands with some warm rose water over a bowel..then the courses just keep on coming...soup you drink out of a bowel...savory filo type pastry...3... More

Order was several pieces of the bistella: it was excellent, well received by all guests, would order again. Staff was very pleasant.
