While i would in no way classify this as a Cuban restaurant, the food was delicious nonetheless. The Sangria was great, as were our food choices. Shout out to the plantain crusted chicken! Perfect for our girls birthday dinner outing!

Cuban- no! Putting tough flank steak on a smear of chili sauce doesn't make it Cuban, for example. Too many fries and fatty mashed potatoes as the side. Even the fried banana dessert was not authentic, way too sweet and with ice cream. Plating looked good but disappointment at first bite. Typical California modern pretending to be healthy but loaded... More

My third time in this enchanting restaurant, again with work colleagues, it never seems to fail to please. The staff are chirpy and helpful and the decor seems to be in an undefined time capsule of a sort Latin-Caribbean nineteen fifties era or earlier. With the inside a perfect back drop for a Carmen Miranda number and the outside enchanting,... More

Had dinner with a business colleague last week, and while the food was decent, I could detect no Cuban accent to any of the four items we ordered. My salad was basically plain-essentially zero dressing, and the pork belly was barely edible. My colleague enjoyed her meal much more than I did, so I will give it the benefit of... More

Friendly not pushy waiter... had the half chicken dish, nothing really Cubanesque or otherwise intriguing about it... for the quality, too expensive, quantity alone does not make up for it. The place itself displays a cozy atmosphere, but the acoustics get out of control, when the place is busy...

My coworker selected this place for our office holiday lunch. It is so close to our office so I can't believe I hadn't been there before. Looks smaller than what it is. We had a reserved area and the service was prompt and efficient without hurrying us. Cocktails are varied and potent. Had the Buena Vista, tasty and refreshing. The... More

I haven't really gone to many Cuban restaurants before but I was told this was a good place and I guess it's pretty good. Seems kinda overpriced for me but the entrees do come in pretty big portions. Service was good. Good thing is that take reservations and this place gets packed so make sure you make reservations.

Food is very good. Had Chicken crusted in Plantain it was moist and very tasty. Outdoor area is very relaxing. The whole Lab area is unique and laid back. Appetizers were good as well. We shared three and all were very well executed. Would highly recommend wether you're into Cuban food or not.

The restaurant has a nice vibe, and you weren't rushed into ordering. That's probably the best thing I can say about the restaurant. I ordered a sangria (supposedly a specialty of the house) but it wasn't anything special. We split the roasted red pepper salad with chicken topping--both of which were uninspired. The plantain side dish was OK. I had... More

I brought my daughter to Habana for the second time and we still love this place. It's in a funky location called The Lab with several other shops like Urbanoutfitters and restaurants. It's worth it to arrive an hour earlier to walk around before the stores close. My go-to Cuban dish is ropa vieja and it is absolutely delicious at... More
