Pitfire Pizza in Culver City should NOT be confused with it's other locations of the same name. When it comes to quality flavored, farm to table (dare I say) pies, this brick and mortar pizza shop on Washington Blvd is hands down the leader of the pack. The crust is thick and crunchy along the outside and thin beneath the... More

We out of towners were in the area for a couple weeks..so our first try was a carry-out order. My husband is a wood-fired crust snob (as we have our own outdoor oven at home and his standards are compared to his Italian-home countries pizza making techniques)...and he loved the crust! Thin center with the crisp crust and all the... More

Pizza is good, I really like their salame pizza. However, the price is quite high for the size you get.

Last night was my first time going to PItfire. My friend had been raving about it for months. I went there and was greeted by De Wayne, a personable young man. He was exceptionally nice and helpful in assisting me on choosing the best pizzas. Since I was picking up the pizzas to take home I was able to observe... More

Some food lovers value pizza from its crust. I've got to admit that Pitfire got it just right. It is thin, yet it retains a bit of its chewiness. Its brick oven is responsible for the smokiness flavour and it's perfect. This pizza is not too salty and not thick, it fits my appetite without feeling the guilt. The salad... More

We love Pitfire, especially the one on Washington Blvd., right near Marina Del Rey. The place is large and there is usually not a wait. If you want you can give a call and your pizza or pasta will be ready for you to pick up if you want. Dine in or take out the food is the same quality... More

We went to this place just because it was close to the hotel, we were very impressed by the quality of the pizzas. Nice place, simple, trendy, young.

First of all I should say that I am very picky when it comes to the pizza dough - I don't like the regular US pizzas from chain restaurants that's why when I caught sight of Pitfire Artisan Pizza, I was very excited. It was exactly what I imagined - great pizza dough from the pitfire! We ordered Margherita and... More

Delicious seasonal pasta dishes and I always pair it with the refreshing sangria. Amazingly, I've never eaten pizza here but thoroughly enjoyed a panini.

I love that this place used to be an old Shakey's Pizza, and they converted it into a high-end hip & trendy pizza place. The pizza toppings can get very creative here. This time I had a pizza with Brussel sprouts, sour cream and chicken (instead of the bacon that came as part of the combo). The sprouts were a... More
