I was recommended to come to this place because my friend said that the burritos are "huge". With a bit of doubt but the desire for great food, my son and I drove out here from Perris, CA. OMG! They were so right! This burrito is humongous! It has to be the biggest one I've ever had. #winning

From the outside, it really doesn't look like much, but this place has some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. We used to live right by here, and now that we live far away it's something we crave and really miss. We try to eat here every time we are in the area. The food is always... More

My husband and I took note of the recommendations of other reviewers and got the tostada. I'm glad we did as El Abajeno piles on authentic Mexican goodness with amazing jalapenos all served on fresh tortilla chips. A lot of food for a great price.

We stopped in for dinner and were concerned because it was about 6:30 PM and we were the only customers. That soon changed as many take out customers and several dine in customers arrived. They serve large portions of good Mexican food at a fair price.

My husband grew up around the corner and every time we're back in the neighborhood, we stop here for a meal and a large order of carnitas taquitos to go. He loves the tostadas and chilaquiles, our son gets a burrito, and our daughter and I like the overly full taquitos. Parking in their lot is often full. Be ready... More

Always a line, but a very good sign. Delicious and inexpensive authentic Mexican food. The burritos and nachos are gigantic!

A favorite place for locals, this is authentic Mexican food on the cheap. Cafeteria style, usually a line, it's worth the inconvenience. Great Mexican breakfast including Huevos Rancheros and Huevos Machaca. Much better tacos than Tito's for the same price, maybe cheaper.

I have been coming to this restaurant since 1995. I don't go very often since I live away now, but I use to come here as a kid. My family and I would always come here before taking an international trip. The restaurant has excellent food, although I have always only gotten burritos, taquitos and nachos. If you love bean... If you want to eat good and fill your tummy, this is a great place to go. I love the shredded carnitas and the burritos are stuffed to the gills. Menudo, soups, salads, enchiladas, etc. are consistent and served by a very helpful staff. Lot's of different types of salsa in their bar. I'm a lover of guac., there's is... More
