I think this is the only Italian restaurant in Cupertino. Closed to most of the tech company around and it does draw a crowd. Good Italian style cooking, friendly server. Only down size the food tends to be a bit rich with too much butter....More

All of our dinners were excellent- spaghetti and meatballs, cippono, lasagna, roast chicken, fresh broiled salmon, and scampi. Superb dinner.....what can I say but make a reservation!!

went because of American Airlines dinner connection, but no one at restaurant knew of this or how it worked. Service was slow with uncrowded restaurant and the food was marginal. Not nearly as good as several other Italian places in the same area. You can...More

Fontana's is one of those all-around "okay" places. The food isn't terrible, but it's not really that memorable either. Pretty standard dishes. The service is usually okay, though sometimes it can be a little slow when they get busy. Considering the average food and ambiance,...More

The food was very good and everyone finished their meals....which is a testament to how good it was. The service was very good and the ambience added to the enjoyment of the meal. Nice.......the only slight negative was that it is a little pricey.

Fonatana's is one of our go-to places before an event at the nearby Flint Center on the De Anza College campus. The food is consistently high quality and well-prepared. Try the Scalone--scallops made to taste like abalone so we can eat the delicious dish without...More

Loved the two kinds of fresh bread served with mushrooms & spices in olive oil. I don't usually eat my whole entree, but couldn't resist all of the mushroom raviolis. A great lunch.

Had dinner here with friends. Been visiting this restaurant for at least 15 years. The decor is warm and comfortable, the staff is friendly and well informed and the food is always excellent. We had Brussels Sprouts and Bruschetta as appetizers and both were delicious....More
