This is an adorable place. I had the malagueña salarosa (serrano and ginger margarita) and my husband had the hibiscus margarita. Both were fantastic. we split the ceviche. Simple ingredients, beautiful presentation. It was so good i forgot to take a picture. The flan was absolutely perfect. It is the best i've ever had. Service was excellent. I wish i... More

Went here for dinner while vacationing in Dana Point. Was very good, authentic Mexican food for very good prices.

Our service was friendly and drinks kept flowing! My food was a bit spicer then I'm used to and they offer s tomatoes the whole meal over. I tried their award winning margarita, it was a good thing I wasn't driving.

Food is pretty good, must visit for historic reasons. Drinks are a little week and pricey. Nice view of the ocean if you're near a window.

You might say it's Mexican kitsch, but you cannot help but be amazed when you enter this cozy, cheerful restaurant. The walls and the entire ceiling are completely covered with pictures, lanterns and flags, Day of the Dead figures, calicoes and crosses, masks, lights, glitter. It just goes on and on. Amazing and fun! And the food is comforting and... More

Mexican food is my favorite kind of food, that being said I have eaten it in many different places. This has to be one of the worst I've had. I got a chicken burrito and my friend got the chicken tacos and we couldn't even finish them. The chicken was so try I needed what felt like a gallon of... More

Used to be a prime placefor great Mexican food and drinks, but after the passing of the matriach of the family, the quality has suffered greatly. Locals no longer eat here and the tourists are probably the only participants.

I had a fish soup - never better! I was really congested and had a sinus cold, just needed to the comfort of hot broth and vegetables. I savoured every mouth full. My friends and family enjoyed every thing they ordered as well. Service was friendly and efficient. Did I mention that the guacamole was the best! We will always... More
