Went to Swami's with my mom and sister. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich, and this is what came out. Maybe I should have asked for the piece of bread to be covered in cheese.....didn't think I needed to be that specific.

We like this place. Its a real CA surf place for lunch. The food is good and you have a nice lunch in outdoor.

Funky looking roadside café with the best Acai bowls on Earth. Excellent fresh food. Albacore sandwich is outstanding. Host John is very entertaining. Great for breakfast and lunch.

Veggie sandwich for breakfast - why not? The Acai bowl was terrific too; just be prepared for some of the fruit to still be frozen. Excellent coffee and overall reasonable prices too. We'll be back!

Stopped here on our coastal drive. Service was fun and quick. The mex mocha iced drink was delicious. Great coffee drinks and the food was interesting and delicious. Check this place out!

Left after 20 min waiting for a cappuccino, friendly atmosphere but not high service standard, the bowls are great if they dont forget your order...

This place is right on Hwy 101 as you travel through Encinitas. It has counter ordering and very casual, open -seating, patio dining. There was a bit of a line but the staff was friendly. There is writing all over the walls and ceiling and surf murals too. There is a coffee bar with about 10 choices in self-serve carafes.... More

Swami's is a small convoluted space that serves great food. You stand in line to order and they bring it to your table. They serve breakfast and lunch. Breakfast items are omelettes, Burritos, and great smoothies and fruit items. Coffee is self serve. A great place to eat and hang out. Prices are really reasonable.

The mayonaisse on the breakfast croissant ruined it. The only thing we enjoyed was the fresh juice. The cappucino tasted "off." Maybe the machine needed cleaning? This is a little place on the side of the road. You have to get your own menus then place your order at the window. That would have been OK if the food was... More
