This quaint little restaurant was very good! The owner came out and took out orders and also made some recommendations. We loved the Lost Coast Chili and the Adult Grilled Cheese. Just make sure you have cash on hand when you order. They do not take credit cards and the local ATM's are often broken.

Well, they don't sell beer. They don't even sell soft drinks. So much for great beer and fish and chips! This is a vegan place. So, I guess it was good if your vegan. Which I am not. Not too sure where the previous reviewer was, but not at this place.

I was in Eureka on business travel and stopped by the lost coast brewery cafe. I had the Aargh Pale Ale. Beer was very good and the bartender was very personable and fast. Ordered the Halibut and chips which were also good... crispy not greasy. I will be going back there tomorrow

The owner cooks and came out from the kitchen to personally explain the dessert choices, then sat at another table to chat with regulars. This is the kind of tiny local spot where folks feel free to chime in on your dinner conversation, and yes, they are eavesdropping.... Homemade bread served with a fantastic dipping oil with roasted tomatoes and... More

This was a more than pleasant surprise. We are up in the area, checking out different places and were looking for a cafe to have some coffee and "nosh." We found this restaurant by accident as we were walking up and down the main street. The cafe has both an inside seating area and an exterior area. Funky, but tasteful,... More

Marios is amazing! The food is well loved and dishes a created with often local and fresh ingredients. I go here as much a possible. I love the gluten free muffins, the quiche, and soups. I've NEVER had an okay meal... The food is always excellent and consistent. Ferndale it's self is a really fun town, Russ Park is great,... More

Wonderful homemade vegetarian dishes. We stopped here on a ride up the coast. What a fun town and delightful place to eat. We each had something different and we all enjoyed the food and the owner/chef. Even locals were eating here. I know if I lived in town I would be a frequent patron. It is small and not fast... The grilled cheese sandwich was everything I was hoping it would be. Good wheat bread, perfectly melted cheese, and grilled mixed vegetables. The people seated near me loved their potato soup.

Whether or not you are vegetarian the food is wonderful. A great little spot to stop in for lunch. My favorite being the adult XXX grilled cheese with lots of yummy grilled vegetables and pesto on fresh baked bread. Also a great spot on a nice Ferndale day to sit outside and watch people pass by and enjoy the garden... More
