Great food and there is always a table waiting for you. Prices have climbed a bit but the quality and quantity of the food is still very good. The Duck Noodle Won Ton is very good and satisfying.

This restaurant is located near the 99 Ranch Market in Foster City. The food is pretty good and the prices are reasonable. Recommends the roast duck noodle soup.

Located right next to the infamous Ranch 99 supermarket. It is a Cantonese restaurant. I had the name sake rice dish. My friend had the roasted duck noodle dish. Both are as expected. Large portion. A lot of take out orders. Fairly busy for a wed lunch time crowd.

This restaurant is very welcoming, the waitstaff is attentive and friendly, and quality of food is fresh, no matter what you order. I've been to other Chinese restaurants in the area, and they always get it right. Basic stuff like chow mein, sweet and sour, and fried rice is escalated to a high level, and very flavorful. Parking is tough,... More

I've eaten there a few times for dinner and each time I went away happy and content. The dinner menu is the norm with a variety of vegetarian dishes. Very reasonable pricing. The service varies from ok too good. The place is pretty big so even when busy, it's a short wait.

Nothing outstanding, cheap standard food in a typical local Chinese eatery. However, the service seems to have improved.

This small restaurant in a strip mall has the best home style chinese food in the area. You won't find any 'fancy' dishes or food presentations, but you will have your choice of 'true' home style Chinese dishes that you won't find elsewhere. The food is very reasonably priced, decent portions and excellent taste. The won ton, sweet and sour... More

When I am in a rush, I go to Tai Wu. They go all the way to please you. You can add, any thing you like, exchange items from their menu, they just smile and they don't charge extra like any of the others restaurants. Also the tea is free, unlike the Thai restaurants or Olives they charge $2.50/cup.

While not a place of food pilgrimage (which it never tried to be), Tai Wu is always satisfying. It provides the right combination of quality, simplicity and cost. One can always go there when tired of fancier food, or simply goes to Ranch 99 and feels like having a bite. The BBQ items and pig feet are always good, so... More
