I was heading back to San Francisco from some excellent camping by Jenner, and I found a reference in my travel guide to head back via the Bohemian Highway. We were barely aware of passing through a no-stop-sign town, but there was a lot of commotion coming from this establishment, so we stopped by. OMG, so glad we did. We... More

This was our first time at the bakery - but believe me, not our last ;-) The staff was super friendly and helpful, allowing us to taste basically everything before we bought it. Make sure to meander through the garden and take your picnic lunch out back. The fougasse was probably my favorite. or the scones. or... ;-) it was... More

Truly superb baked goods. A great variety of sweet and savory items. They even carry rare breads, such as 100% rye (admittedly an acquired taste).

Hardly surprising that Wildflour is always crowded if not downright jammed, but one can call ahead and reserve items before they inevitably sell out. The rye is consistently the densest, most flavorful and about the priciest loaf I've ever eaten, and freezes beautifully. As for scones, the savories are superb and there are good-to-excellent gluten-free offerings as well.

A must stop, an institution by now. The area is lovely, coastal and sort of remote and the bakery is exciting. Generous tastes, scones a surprise, sometimes wow and sometimes not so much. Fougasse goat cheese my favorite.

Lots of variety. YUMMY YUMMY! Lots of calories. :( Bread tasting allowed before you buy! Don't forget to bring cash and DO FORGET your diet! You can also visit their garden. Not more than 20 minutes from Bodega Bay!

We love to get fresh bread from them at least once a month or more. We usually get a loaf of the fugose and then go down the street to the cheese shop get some cheese and go to the beach and make a date out of it. Great soft bread with a nice crispy crust. I wish I could... More

Bread straight out of the wood fired bread oven is a delight to enjoy. I'm partial to the Whole Wheat Sour Dough loaf which has a wonderful texture and flavor. They have a variety of other breads and baked treats that baked throughout the day. On most days you'll find a line out the door of locals who made the... More

This place is a gem with THE best scones and sweet breads! Great owners too. The ingredients are fresh and high quality. They cook everything out of a wood oven and this place is legit! Lines long so be prepared to wait. and ooohh those cinnamon buns!
