Peering in the window from outside, the diner looked like it was stuck in the late 1950's and what I wanted was an old-fashioned breakfast sandwich from my youth. But the ham, egg and cheese on sourdough bread with potatoes on the side was average, at best. The coffee was weak and, even though the place was virtually empty, service... More

Got a burger and onion rings. The onion rings were way too greasy. Service was friendly, though. xxxx

Hearty food, reasonable price, great service. Had a BLT with side salad and think the dressing was housemade. Kids loved their food too. Make the turn off at garberville if on the 101.

The portions were ample, the food was fresh and satisfying. The place has a very homey, country atmosphere. Open for breakfast and lunch. Many locals were eating at the counter, and there was lots of friendly banter between diners and staff. The Hot Big Bird sandwich was tasty--bacon, turkey, tomato and jack cheese on grilled sourdough. If I ordered it... More

This is a small cafe, but has very good food at a good price. We had to wait for available seating, the young man said he would remember us and get us when a table became available, we were waiting outside, he forgot , gave our table to four other people. A girl popped her head out the door and... More

Stopped here to have breakfast on our way out of town when I noticed so many of the bike riders eating here. It is small inside but does have large booths & a counter you can set at. The menu has a great variety, good prices & the portions were big. Our waitress was friendly but not too chatty. Decorated... More

Table of four, one vegan/gluten free, one vegetarian, and two cheapskates. Even though the place was packed, we were seated almost immediately, the service was friendly, and the place was very clean. We got a vegan burger on a gluten free bun with french fries, eggs and hash, an omelet, and eggs Benedict. All the food was very good.

Thank Kimberly M
