Stopped by here after not eating at an Outback for many years. We used to like Outback. Maybe just this one has gone downhill, or they all have. Bleu cheese salad: brown, wilted iceberg lettuce that tasted old, with an unappetizing "meatball" of bleu cheese sitting in the middle. Filet mignon: unrecognizable. Just a rock hard slab of competely flavorless... More

it was a late evening after a movie. We ordered an Appetizer platter that was delightful. Aussie Fries with melted cheeses and bacon (lots of fat!), deep-fried Mac and Cheese bites and of course half of a Bloomin' Onion. Healthy? - no, but sure was good. came with dipping sauces as well. That and a glass of wine and their... More
The Outback in Goleta just went from bad to worse. The sirloin steak I ordered tasted sour and putrid. My wife confirmed that it was rancid! This restaurant is close to home - food is good - their Wedge salad is the best ever - at least in my opinion - they add a drizzle of balsamic dressing over the usual Blue Cheese and all the fixings of a Wedge. Steaks and Lamb chops are well prepared, grilled shrimp excellent, and really fun desserts Service -... More
We used to go to Outback frequently but noticed the food quality has declined. The lobster and shrimp were good but our steaks were terrible. They were tough and flavorless.
We love Outback and it is a treat to travel and be able to dine at an Outback. However, this location (at least on this day) didn't impress. The steak was tough and the food fairly tasteless. Service was excellent. Disappointing for a meal we had hoped would be excellent.
The slightly gloomy ambience belies the perky staff attitude. Food came quickly and was plentiful and tasty. The sides of salad and vegetables, were fresh. The wine by the glass was on the generous side.
