Having never been to their chain I did not know what to expect. Good experience! Great variety on the menu. Very reasonable. Great Santa Barbara Salad and delicious burger. Quick service even though there was a line. Preparation is done on the spot. Very happy will go again

The Original Habit. Smallish place, patio eating outside, walk up windows for orders. Was here on a Sunday evening and it was very busy. Hours posted on Trip Advisor for this location are wrong - Sunday evenings they close at 8:00 pm. Monday - Saturday they close at 9:00 pm. The items we ordered were really good: the Santa Barbara... I have probably eaten 200 Teriyaki burgers in the past 3 years. Love this place. Also the patio area is great for people watching in downtown goleta

This funky little place is home base of the Habit chain, and still produces the best burgers compared with other outlets in Santa Barbara on State and Milpas Streets. We always have their doublecheese with fries. Juicy, fresh, tasty, excellent!

This place has a lot of chatter since they have now opened several other locations. I would not say they are anything special, but maybe because they are local they have a good following.

This place is a go-to if you are in Santa Barbara. Wait... Wifey just informed me that they are all over California now.. Well it is a damn good burger. Their Chicken teriyaki sandwich is also incredible! Make sure you eat the burger with some of their pepperoncinis that they put on the side!

Fun, busy atmosphere. Always a good sign. Had the bacon cheeseburger and fries. Burger had nice distinctive flavors, fries were dry and needed much ketchup to moisten. Glad we shared the fry order rather than each having our own. I'd return and try onion rings next time.

I went because of the reviews and almost left when I saw the place. Glad I didn't. Great burger! The only improvement would be if they had beer.

Over the past few years, The Habit has become one of the nation's fastest growing food franchises. The hamburgers are char grilled and delicious. The menu is incredibly varied for a burger place, offering a variety of fresh food options including sandwiches and salads. But it all started at The Habit in Goleta. The place is tiny, an old school... More

Busy busy, but I always equate that to good food. Wait was short, and food tasty. Had burger and onion rings. Wish I had room for a yummy looking shake. A must go to when in Goleta CA
