This is a favorite place to take our out of town guests. The eclectic decor is fun. We love the grilled vegetables and the signature dishes. Diane and Shelly are always welcoming and attentive.

We waited a half an hour for water. There were many flies around the table (We ate at an outside table). The server forgot to bring our soup and salad. The steak was overcooked.

Melissa Im so sorry for your experience I would like to know the day you were here so i can address the problem. I hope you did say something to the server and they attempted to make it right. It is so important to us to hear all sides so we can fix any problems. We wash the patio everyday... More

There on a Sunday afternoon. Cozy atmosphere. Seating available in and out. Our server was terrific. The food is "Chilean inspired". It was all unbelievably good. We ended up doing family style so we could try everything and well worth it. Definitely a place to go again.

I have never had a bad meal here. The service level varies, but never disappoints. Servings are generous and their chimichurri is out of this world. Other favorites are salads, antichucho, soups, calimarri, relleno, and taco night!

My husband I were in Grass Valley in November and had never been before. We had such a wonderful trip and were very fortunate to hear about Diegos from the owners of the place we rented. The food was tasty and even had vegetarian to meet my needs! We had dinner and it was a perfect place to go after... More

Just had lunch at Diegos. Lunch crowd was heavy but the staff handled it well. No serious delay in ordering or receiving food. The Churasco sandwich had more than enough tri-tip steak. The sweet potato fries were perfect. The Tres-Leches for desert topped it off. The Sunshine Lemonade is a must on a hot day.

We just happened on this place while driving into Grass Valley after visiting the Empire Mine. It is fairly small - a small dining room and a modest front patio. But the lunch menu, which included several specials, was extensive and varied. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service highly personal, friendly and attentive. We tried the fish tacos, carne... We had a delicious late lunch at Diego's. They were very accommodating to our special requests, and the food was very good. The cooking was a bit slow, but worth the wait. Parking can be difficult, but wasn't on this occasion.

It's not often that you can order amazing Chilean food. We enjoyed quality service on the patio. The food was well priced and simply delicious. I would go here often if I lived in the area. I fell lucky we were able to stumble upon this gem, it's not located in a main tourist area.
