The atmosphere is nice, very old world European and classic. It's a small place with as much room outside as in. The food was actually pretty good. But $27 for a modest sized plate and mouthful sized sides is obscene. The only reason we ate here is because my wife is part Czech and genuine Czech restaurants are hard to... More

Great spot for beer and old world charm. Nice decor, friendly people, cute little mini-town. The food though was quite bland - borderline bad.

We were tickled to come across this little gem for a bit of late lunch when leaving Point Reyes National Park. They had some good Czech food. Lunches were all $17. Dinners were all $27. We really enjoyed our meals and Czech beers.

The short: Expensive, Poor Service, Small Portions I was really looking forward to trying this place out. The restaurant has great ambiance; dark wood interior and a wood fire store. We cozy-ed up at a great window spot and were immediately served with delicious homemade bread. As soon as we saw the prices ($17 for lunch, $27 for dinner with... More

The meal was authentic and delicious. My husband had the Schnitzel and I had the Moravian Cabbage Roll. The meal was served at a very leisurely pace, soup and then salad. The entree's arrived warm and as described. The Pilsner was also very good. We loved it and plan to return. Remember to bring cash, no credit cards are accepted.

A tradition in West Marin. Excellent beer choices. Some with the highest alcohol content available on tap. Attentive service. Do try the duck, fantastic. If not, the goulash is great. Easy parking. Full bar service available. Great soup.

We both enjoyed our dinner. Schnitzel for myself and Goulash for my wife. Each came with dumplings, red cabbage, potato salad and some hearty fresh bread ahead of our meal. Had not planned to stop, just drove by the sign while heading to Point Reyes National Seashore and decided to stop on the way back. Enjoyed the neal and atmosphere.... More

The menu at this restaurant is limited to a kind of stick to your ribs eastern European fare. It's surprising since this area of California has some amazing local farms and dairies. The meat is slathered in heavy sauces that don't add much flavor. They do offer some nice wines from the area to go with your meal. The apple... More

We stopped here for lunch and the place is very charming. We stay outside on a beautiful afternoon on the patio. The waitress was very friendly and food very old world. We had the goulash and fish and chips which were both very good. Your meal also comes with hot homemade sour dough bread an extra treat. The apple strudel... More

We really enjoyed sitting on the patio mid afternoon to relax after a long hike. It's a cozy atmosphere with home like cooking! We split the lamb and apple strudel, and it was just enough to re energize us for our next hike. The picture is of the lunch menu.
