This store was super helpful. We were staying at a place literally 3 minutes walk from here and was able to pick up some things & they had everything i wanted (including a can opener for about 4 bucks). Prices aren’t bad considering the remote...location and the fact this place seems to exist to serve vacationers like myself.More

I think that budget travellers should stock up on their breakfast and lunch supplies before arriving in Point Reyes National Seashore. Be sure to bring butter and garlic for putting on the very pricy un-shucked oysters ($2.19 each) (easy to microwave). If you order them...at a local restaurant they are about $3.50 per oyster.More

Inverness is a very small town. This market is amazingly well stocked with reasonable prices. .Has everything you might need and some hard to find specialty items. As a bonus, you can walk around the back to the Pt Reyes shipwreck

Very strange, given the potential of this spot. Not a bad place for forgotten non-food items, and they have a few picnic benches and chairs in the back looking out at Tomales Bay.

From the road you're looking at an old fashioned general store. Once inside however you're in San Francisco down home. That's not a bad thing if you want some high end pastry or takeout. Same thing for basic items too. The staff (and there are...a lot of them) are extremely nice and helpful. Just remember you're not is some land that time forgot. That's not always a bad thing, right?More

Walking into the Inverness Store was scary!! I huge store with only about 1/2 used. Everything looked dirty! Frozen section had empty boxes thrown into the cabinets. Would definitely recommend the Health Department pay a visit to this store!!

Behind this little grocery store lays an old Point Reyes ship that lies on the shore in the sand with magnificent views of the water and hills. Quick and easy stop along your route. Free parking.

People come to this grocery store to see the Point Reyes Shipwreck which is located behind the store. Located at 12784 Sir Francis Drake Blvd, Inverness, CA 94937, the shipwreck is great to photograph (after you've purchased something from the store so you can park,...guilt-free). The shipwreck is a nice attraction to see before visiting Point Reyes Lighthouse on the coast.More

We rolled into the store and got some sammys to get us thru until dinner. They were very tasty and made to order. This store has a little bit of everything. It could use a few more outdoor tables. The people in the the store...were nice and friendly.More

Meh...It's okay for a quick shopping stop to pick up some supplies and food for lunch but it could be much better. It's expensive but that is expected considering it's somewhat isolated. It has pretty much all the basics you need if you're staying in...one of the local motels and you'd like some bread, cheese and lunch meat to have as lunch or a snack.More

This is not a restaurant. It is a sparce grocery store. Inverness is far from everywhere, on curvy roads. The prices here are high but it takes a bit to deliver to this city I would guess. They had lots of drinks and snacks and...should have all you need. The person was very friendly and even gave us their local magazine guide which was really helpful.More

Living in the area, we stop by this store on occasion and just scratch our heads. It has a great location, lots of space but it is just kind of a dump. Only come here if you can't make it to Palace Market or Perry's.

We stopped here to get bread and a case of water. Not sure why this is listed as a restaurant because it was more like a grocery store that also served prepared food. We were heading to Yosemite the next morning and figured things would...be cheaper here. Boy were we wrong! We got a case of water, it was Fiji water because that was all we saw in cases. We also got the loaf of bread, the price on it was almost $5 but I figured oh well lets just get it. The woman at the counter saw we had a case of Fiji water and asked if that was what we really wanted or did we want the cheaper water. I said we wanted the cheapest they had. So she had a gentleman get a case of water. Basically he got a cardboard box and put 24 of these Arrowhead waters in it. He even insisted on taking it to the car which was nice. So we went out, he put it in an I went back in to pay. We also got 2 strawberry ice cream sandwiches. We get rung up, I figured it would be maybe $12 give or take a few dollars. NOPE, it came to $47.00!!!! There was no discount for the case of water, they charged $1.50 per water x 24. Back home I can get a case of spring water at Aldi's for $2.49. Later we wondered how much the Fiji water was, probably $50. Since it was already in the trunk of the car I just paid it in a state of shock. Then of course the next day about 10 miles away we pass a shopping center with a Safeway! Nice people but make sure you know the price before you decide to buy!More
