We stopped at this place as part of our honeymoon and had a great time! It's very "old timey."...antiques all around and the rooms are fun too. Michael and Heather helped to make us feel at home and a couple in the bar area bought us a glass of champagne to help us celebrate out recent marriage! A MUST for... More

We stopped in Jamestown after taking a ride to Murphys. Love the authentic look and feel of the hotel dining room. We had lunch which was very good. Our server was fantastic! She was bartending and waiting tables as well. Very friendly and helpful. I would love to have dinner here sometime.

We really enjoyed our pasta and prime rib. The selection of local wines are amazing. The host was very helpful. We enjoyed the warm homemade bread and fantastic chocolate moose. It was a busy night and our waitress seemed rushed. The menu is a little pricey but we really enjoyed our dining experience.

Our party of 3 had a wonderful dinner in the very pleasant outdoor patio tonight. Gold margaritas, calimari, steaks and Chicken Madagascar were prepared perfectly. Our server was very nice and served our courses in good time. The owner was there and he came to the patio tables to make sure everyone was happy and taken care of. This place... More

When you walk in and look at the menu prices you think "upscale" restaurant. But when you are served you are brought back to a mediocre level. It wasn't bad, but the ambiance and setting gives you the impression this is a bit more than just an average restaurant. My wife and I didn't have extravagant entrees, but our total... More

The good part: nice patio setting, accepted to serve us dinner very late at night, server was nice and professional, great local wine list at very moderate prices. The not so great: did not have my first two wine selections, food was bland

We are really sorry that this gentleman who was from Belgium, was not happy with our wine list availability and that his entree was considered to be "bland". We have one of the largest restaurant wine lists in California, of Sierra Foothill appelation, usually maintaining 100+- selections. This customer only wanted a Pinot Noir, of which very little is produced... More

To start, we loved the atmosphere in the outdoor garden, quaint but romantic. The food was excellent, except the escargot had tarrogon which we do not prefer in our escargot. Other than that the trout, caesar salad, and dessert was commendable. Cherry, our server, was fantastic in all aspects from handling my wife's special needs to providing great service.
