I have eaten at this restaurant several times before, but it has a new owner, Sarah. The service is excellent, and the food is still top notch. I would consider this restaurant a local hole in the wall. I noticed that a lot of the diners are either locals, or visitors to Joshua Tree National Park. Interesting conversation can be... More

We stopped at Country Kitchen after visiting the Joshua Tree NP. The restaurant is just at the crossing of the JT visitor center, a small place on the corner. Unfortunate some dishes weren't available but the fired noodle were gorgeous! Worth to try!

We had breakfast here and it was very good. My wife had a breakfast burrito, which was big and juicy and good for $7.25. I had eggs over easy with home fries and sausage patties and it was excellent. The owner served us and let us know that she would be adding to the menu with a few Asian style... More

Only open until 3PM but can get breakfast until then, which is great if you're not a morning person! A little greasy sometimes, but the atmosphere, and blueberry pancakes worth the wait!

I have been here twice and will stop here every time I go out that way.. I live in L.A. and drive to 29 Palms about 4 times a year..Its a very small restaurant with about 6 small tables..I had a breakfast and a lunch there and it was very home style cooking. The place was like going to my grandmother's kitchen for breakfast. Food was good, loved the homemade salsa. The interior needs a good cleaning, just like granny's house, where she never throws anything out!

Great place and the chocolate chip pancakes are to die for. Family friendly and great diner food. You won't go away hungry. Definitely a place to eat.

Not only was the food very good (filling portions and delicious), the Country Kitchen is a small, intimate room with 'mom-like' service and care. Go here rather than any other breakfast place.

The owners are wonderful and tons of fun. Breakfast all day. Excellent food. Beware of their salsa. Hot and molten flesh. Lol. Closed Tuesdays.

After rising at 4am to drive out to Joshua tree and see the sunrise we headed to Country Kitchen for breakfast. This place is exactly what I was told it was - like somebody's actual kitchen you've been invited into for a home cooked meal. The lady serving us was very sweet and kept the coffee flowing (nice and strong... More
