We happily rediscovered The Julian Grille recently and had a wonderful lunch. Appreciated being told that sitting outside wouldn't be very comfortable since it was the season when bees and hornets would be attacking the food. Eating inside was welcoming and comfortable. Great service and...More
First visit to the cute, quaint town of Julian, and to the Julian Grille Restaurant. I recommend making a reservation as the restaurant is small and busy for dinner. Having never been to Julian I wanted to try a sit down dinner at a place...More

This is a convenient location in Julian to have a nice casual lunch. The menu has a variety of items, including salads, soups, seafood, meats and more. You can dine inside and old house, or sit outside on their patio.....either is very enjoyable.
The Grill is located in a cute house on outdoor eating at the west end of town. Street parking. Menu offered the usual lunch fare. Tuna melt was serviced on tasty rye bread. Price are reasonable. Service was satisfactory until the check. Rebecca forgot us.
