Everything about our time at The Soule Domain was exceptional. Loved the traditional old Tahoe feel of the historic cabin in which the restaurant is located. Every member of the staff was appropriately attentive and friendly, but we especially enjoyed our interactions with Stephan, our...More

Soule Domain is by far our favorite restaurant in the Lake Tahoe area. It is a small, cozy log cabin which serves a wonderful array of well-prepared meals in an intimate setting. We just love it and go whenever we are in Tahoe!

Located in a log cabin built in 1929, with a limited number of small tables, this is the most delightful fine dining experience around! Adult oriented, intimate, I would not recommend children. Linen tablecloths, napkins. The regular menu has something for anyone, and the nightly...More

I am picky as I am a fairly good cook. This restaurant is amazing, only problem was I didn't have enough room in my tummy to eat more ! I even had to skip dessert 😬😁 so next time in Tahoe I am going back....More

Overall, we had a great experience, as the 4 stars would indicate. The setting is quite small--inside a cabin. Maybe 8 tables in total, but don't sit at the 3 by the bathroom. So, basically 5 tables. The menu is great, and the food is...More

Always like to try new places and glad we found this on TripAdvisor. As much as we liked the service, the wonderful ambience and the "original recipes" felt it tried a bit too hard. My petrole sole was one of the best I've had but...More

I wish we had been completely successful in providing a great dining experience, thank you for being honest in your review, we are known for our sauces and for some people we use more sauce than they would prefer... if you ever dine with us...More

Tucked away at the state line between California and Nevada at the north end of Lake Tahoe is a mis-en-place log cabin with white tablecloths and wait staff that really know what they are doing. And that's the part you can see! Hidden somewhere is...More

Tucked behind the cheesy casinos at stateline is this tiny wood cabin. When I say tiny, I'm tall and have to duck inside. But, the restaurant and setting is very intimate and romantic. Oh yeah....and the food is amazing.

We've been coming to Tahoe for so many years and can't believe we haven't tried this before. We'll be back!
