We went right after the weekend lunch buffet ended. I thought they were about to close since most Indian places reopen until 5pm. Not this place! They seated us (we were the only ones in the restaurant) and they kept taken take out orders the whole time we were there. We had the classics: Veggie Pakoras, Tandoori chicken, Chicken Tika... A group of us (seven total) went to this restaurant during the summer of 2016 and shared dishes amongst ourselves. This allowed almost all of us to sample a variety of different dishes. Channa masala, dal makhani, aloo gobi, vegetable samosas and pakoras, and malai kofta were among some of the plates ordered. The flavor and spice was very good,... More

It is located in Hillcrest and not in La Jolla. Off 163 and Washington. Ordered appetizer that was assorted. Lamb and vegetable samosas, breaded paneer, fritters of chicken and veggies accompanied by a sweet and spicy sauce-$9. Next, I ordered delicious garlic naan-$3 to accompany murgh curry-$14. Ordered it at medium spicy and it was amazing. Finished off with the... More

Got this takeaway for two. Had lamb vindaloo and chicken tikka masala! Lots of meat that was tender and flavour.Naan was yummy!! The raita was a bit runny as I like mine slightly thick. Prices fair as you get a lot!! Two curries and two naan could have done three of us.

Ordered delivery from India Palace and was not disappointed. Generous portions, and very flavorful food! Chicken korma was creamy and the khir had a wonderful cardamom flavor.

We visited this place during New Year 2016. We tried this place for dinner. I must mention, the food served was the most authentic Indian food I had tried till date in USA. We had ordered for Karahi Lamb, naan, tandoori roti and rogan josh. We were very happy with the service and the treatment. Though a small place but... More

This is our first time to this place in SD. We went with a friend on Christmas Day during our travels and were very surprised to find a long wait. The restaurant gave the vibe of being disorganized. We were told that the wait would be at least 30-40 mins but were pleasantly surprised to be seated in less than... More

During our trip to San Diego, We wanted to have good Indian food for dinner ... and tried out this place. But the experience was most awful .. The naan we ordered was completely burnt out, other starters were equally bad. Total waste of money and not worth a try.

On my recent trip to San Diego, I was very excited to try good Indian food at this place. To my dismay, the food here was pathetic. Yes I am not exaggerating. Garlic naan was completely burnt out and black, Pakoras were too salty and seems to have been made with haste, Lamb samosa was completely inedible. Paneer masala was... More

I went here with my friends because we wanted to try some new food. I ordered the chicken tandoori and it was ok, not many spices. The mixed entrees were good. We'll go back to try new things!
