I visit this Rubio's location at least once a week. Their fish tacos and California bowl salads are always a favorite.

Rubio's is famous for it's fish tacos. But, in comparison to the smaller Mexican restaurants in town, it has a limited menu. But what they do have is very good. Very good, indeed.

Adore this litte taco chain. Eat there whenever I visit California. Boston could use these. I'd happiy trade in Chipolte for a Rubios any day.

It's a nice Mexican fast food. I really recommend the fish tacos, they're tasty. If you're in a hurry, this is a good option.

Great menu and fast, friendly service. We brought my daughter & her family for a late evening dinner. We chose this place as it was a favorite of theirs.

In the food court of UCSD, super crowded and hard to get seating, but the food was fine. If it were $1 cheaper I'd up the rating.

If you go to Rubio's, you'll notice they feature a speciality fish taco which is low calorie, and very tasty. I had the Fish Taco Especial which allegedly comes with guacamole and a side of beans. I saw the refried beans, but hardly any guacamole...More

I'm from San Diego, which is the home of Rubio's. I don't normally go for fast food but Rubio's offers good quality food and healthy choices! It's reasonably priced and quick service! I would definitely recommend it!

Like I said good fish tacos, good food in general for fast food. Wish I had one where I live. Fast, clean, sensible prices.

Description
The first restaurant was opened in 1983 in San Diego by Ralph Rubio and his father, Ray, who started the fish taco phenomenon that spread across the nation. Today, Rubio’s menu has grown from The Original Fish Taco® to include additional chef-crafted seafood recipes that feature shrimp, wild salmon and ono. In addition to sustainable seafood, Rubio’s offers chargrilled chicken and steak, fresh made guacamole and salsas and sauces that are prepared daily.
