We enjoyed a nice evening at Prepkitchen where everything was on point. Starting with excellent service helping us to find a wine we both enjoy, which is no small feat! The burrata appetizer is wonderful and very flavorful. I had the mussels as an entree,...More

Visiting the area with our dogs and needed a pet friendly place for a late night dinner. Reservations were made and confirmed. We were running late- called- and assured we would be fine. Arriving 5 minutes before the kitchen closed left us feeling frazzled and...More

Nothing fancy about this place, in a good way. Well-prepared mostly organic food at a reasonable price. Our server, a young artist from San Antonio, was excellent. Very nice outdoor seating area. The salads were particular standouts.

We stopped in on a Sunday pm and sat in the patio area. A very relaxed atmosphere, but the cuisine is top notch. The menu is one side of a legal sheet of paper, but there variety of choices is large. One of our party...More

Friendly service and delicious food. Casual atmosphere sitting on the outdoor patio. Lots of options for dinner: we had fish tacos and roasted cauliflower, both very good.

Small place but very nice patio for seating. Service very good-food took a little extra time but seems that was because it was prepared with care and fresh ingredients. We all loved our dishes. Fish tacos, BAT, garlic prawns. We will definitely be back, I...More

SpecialtiesThe Whisknladle Crew is pleased to welcome you to Prepkitchen. Prepkitchen was inspired by our never-ending quest to make our food from scratch and then driven by physical limitations of Whisknladle's tiny kitchen. At first it was nothing more than chicken scratch and a logistical nightmare but over time it blossomed into what it is today; our casual quick bite eatery, take out joint and gourmet market.Soups - Salads - Sandwiches - Antipasti - Entrees - Fresh Pastas - House Cured Meats Artisan Cheeses - Beer - WineMeet the Business Owner: Arturo K.What first started as an off the cuff partnership between a hungry & talented chef (Ryan Johnston)in need of a kitchen and a desperate culinary school drop out in need of a chef (Arturo Kassel) hasblossomed over the last 4 years into Whisknladle Hospitality.Together with our committed and passionate managing partners and our patient angel investors (?), we've continued to grow from one small and ambitious little restaurant to a small little restaurant group with even bigger ambitions.Since opening Whisknladle's doors in 2008, our company's mission has been to bring good food, good wine & great people together.Culinarily speaking, we take a back to the future approach to cooking by working with seasonal & farm to table products and taking the time to make most of our food from scratch; the way it used to be, they way it ought to be.
