The view is worth the visit. Coffee and newspaper, with incredible vista will start any day right. Suggestion to mangement: 8am is too early to be playing 1980's classic rock (Def Leopard, REO Speedwagon and screaming White Snake). 5 star goes to 3 star on that alone. Class it up and match the view to the mood in the morning.... More

Views from the 11th floor were amazing. Service is very friendly. However, perhaps due to the fact that the bar area was very busy, service was not as attentive as we would have liked. We shared the beet salad (tasty & fresh), and the cheese plate (mediocre selection served with stale bread). Overall not a bad selection for happy hour.

This restaurant, on the 11th floor of the Hotel La Jolla was a pleasant surprise. The views are wonderful. The service greatly exceeded our expectations. The food was very good. Overall, a most enjoyable experience.

I am wary of hotel restaurants so my expectations weren't high when I went up to Cusp. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service and genuinely good food. I greatly enjoyed sipping my sparkling wine and nibbling on lobster gnocchi while watching the sun set over the ocean.

We experienced very friendly and helpful service, but the food could have been a little better. I love octopus and order it every time I see it on a menu. The octopus here was in a very delicious preparation, but the octopus meat itself was so tough, old and chewy, it must have either been under a heat lamp for... More

Went here for dinner with my daughter. You are up on the 11th floor with great views of the water. We both had clam chowder, not bad, a bit watery though. We then had lobster gnocchi that was inedible. The waiter seemed stressed and kept apologizing to us and every other table. My daughter and I both ended up getting... More

We stayed at the hotel so we dined at the 11 the floor ocean view restaurant. Everything was perfect from staff to food quality. I would come back to dine here even if I wasn't staying at the hotel.

While visiting San Diego for a conference, local friends recommended we go to Cusp for dinner. It was a sensational experience all around! The views from this 11th floor restaurant and bar were outstanding, especially during sunset. The food and wine, while very pricey, were also outstanding. I had the baby beet salad and the Ono for my main course,... More

The Cusp is located on the 11th floor of the Curio. I classify it as a Mid to High-end restaurant that serves primarily organic or healthy choice selections. Although I only had time to sample the breakfast menu, it was of sufficient quantity and quality.
