My wife and I were very disappointed with the prices they charge for mediocre food. They charge a service fee that they say is for rising costs. The views of the bay were excellent and the service was very good. We felt it was a...More

We had a fantastic lunch here at a table with amazing views of the La Jolla cliffs and coastline. The food is good if not pricey but the service is great and the location and views cannot be beat.

The first time we ate here, we had a great experience. We returned and although the food was good, the service was laughably slow. They offered a free dessert for the poo service which was delicious. We'll try it again some other time.

Had brunch with my wife today. I had the chicken and waffles she had the breakfast tacos. Both were good but not great. The same could be said for the Crabby Mary. Too expensive for what you get.

Just call the Crab Catcher and tell them it is your Anniversary and that you want a window seat, and they will reserve it for you. That it exactly what we did in advance.

I agree with what appears to be a consensus -- no dress code and not a dressy place, but it's a nice restaurant in a very upscale community, so "smart casual" is good.
