Ok so I liked the views. Tip - sit outside on the patio and request a table alongside the railing - you'll thank me for the awesome views and photo ops. Overall a very enjoyable meal. Seated by a welcoming hostess at a prime railing...More

The view gets 5 stars but so does every restaurant along Prospect St. in La Jolla. Now onto the food. Ordered the coconut shrimp app. These were nasty, premade, frozen breaded shrimp right out of your grocery store freezer. Then they overcook the remaining life...More

We ate here our first night in LaJolla—I made the reservations primarily for the view and because the restaurant offers a kids menu. View was great—we were there right at sunset. The food was ok, not over the top awesome. I had shrimp cocktail to...More

Nice staff, good food, good drinks, vibrant atmosphere, well-priced in a very expensive area, just found space for a party of 7 on a Friday evening without too long a wait, cannot fault it.

The variety in the menu is great, something for everyone or get a few to share. The building and decor are really nice.

Best views in Destin. V ery low key hangout with great drinks and food. Service was laid back but attentive.

We had a reservation but waited 20 minutes for out outdoor table. I requested an ocean view but that was not an option. Dinner was great, the best part was our overly kind and wonderful server. GREAT SERVICE!

Food was great. Fun and beautiful environment. Manager was fantastic, but server could not handle splitting the bill. It took an HOUR!! If you’re with a group, agree to split evenly or pay someone back offline. That part was crazy, and they should of told...More

Great view, very efficient service, great food, very tasty kid’s menu. What else can you ask? Ok this is not an elegant upscale restaurant with some creative menu. However, basic cooking of seafood really excels here. Ingredients are very fresh and tasty. There is a...More

Description
Duke's La Jolla is named in honor of native Hawaiian Duke Kahanamoku, an Olympic swimming and water polo medalist and the father of modern surfing. Overlooking the La Jolla Cove, Duke's serves genuine, friendly hospitality with contemporary interpretations of traditional island plates. As a tribute to Hawaii and Southern California beach lifestyles, Duke's celebrates family, views and the spirit of aloha. We welcome our guests to become a part of our 'ohana.
