I have gone to Care Allegro for years and have always loved their food, especially Chicken Marisala and Penne Explosive. My wife loves the Salmon salad

Street side dining, interior dining, and nice looking bar. Lots of locals right downtown. I had the lunch $14 special, Italian sausage pasta. Tasty, good quantity. Definitely coming back for dinner with my wife.

We were referred to Caffe Allegro in LaVerne. Keep in mind there is a sister facility by the same name in Upland. We found the food excellent, well prepared and spiced subtly and to the right degree. They have grown out onto the sidewalk in...charming LaVerne village and the atmosphere is just that: charming. Service courteous without air, prompt. Overall ranks with the best Italian in the area.More

Large portions and kind of pricey. I got the pesto tortellini and was disappointed that it wasn't served aldente.... kinda mushy for my taste. The large salad was ok and the side ceasre salad was good. Michael the waitress was young, (couldn't serve a beer),...but was pleasant and checked in on us often. Perfect day to sit outside. Will just know to get something other than pasta if we return.More

I wanted to eat a nice meal after a long work day. I went inside to wash my hands and I told the waitress that I will sit outside. I was sitting outside on the table for 15 min at least when I decided to...flag down a waitress and told her nobody has come. A new blonde smug waitress came and the first thing she asks is " are you by yourself, did anyone seat you? I said no. Then she said "can I move you to a smaller table, this is our busy dinner night" I said no, I'm fine here. She then grabbed the table and said "well can I separate the table to make it smaller?" I said no, you know what forget it. She said, "I'm sorry" in a fake way, I told her no, your not and left. There was only 3 other parties outside and 1 inside. Lots of tables were empty. I felt humiliated. She was very rude and stupid, and doesn't know the first thing about customer service. I've been coming to cafe Allegro for years the food is delicious and I know she is a new waitress because I have never seen her before. What a witch, I hope she gets fired one day.More

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years. They have great food all the time. Service is usually very good too. They have nice assortment of wines. Also has seating outside by the street which is nice.

This is a cozy little restaurant with wonderfully prepared traditional Italian dishes! I love their seafood pasta dishes, but everything they serve is delicious. You can’t go wrong here!

If your business meeting was very small it might work. But no they dont have a private room and would not be conducive for a typical private business lunch/dinner meeting.
